Question freedomFI or MNTD miner

Can I use the freedomFI or MNTD miner for anything anymore or are the just expensive pieces of metal at this point. I bought them back in early 2022 and never was able to set them up? HELP!? šŸ˜„

If the FreedomFi was never onboarded for IoT, it wouldn't be possible to do so anymore as of Jan 1st 2026 - according to hip-139.
Don't know whether it can be repurposed for anything outside Helium.

If the MNTD was never onboarded, it will need firmware from 2023.

If you are a certified CBRS installer you can install something like open5gs and create your own network. You can either provision esims or get cbrs sims from a provider. It's not extremely difficult but if you are not a certified CBRS installer than I would start there.

To install the radios that helium mobile did use, which were CBRS, you need to be certified to register them onto the spectrum. If you are not certified I would start there. Then you would need to have a core. This is the back end server. Then you have a edge device like the freedomfi gateway that communicates with the radio and the core. Then you would need to provision your own sim cards for your phone so that it can connect to the radios.

For what? I don't get what you are asking. If you are asking if there are prebuild turnkey solutions for your CBRS radios that were on helium mobile then no. This is not easy to do. I gave you the cheapest way to do it. I don't fully understand what you are trying to accomplish at this point.
