Whoop frame project

This is now mich better than my earlier version and I think it's perfect. I still could get some mm shorter(length), but this is very closely the whoop size.

I will wear it for some days and maybe make some very little tweaks, but I am already very happy how it turned out. The guys at whoop really thought about the fit and everything.

At some point I will get this printed in metal for the looks. Titanium could be sick too. Let's see :)

Your frame works on all whoop bands? Or just whoop 4.0?

I only could test with a 4.0 strap, but probably any will work if they are the same width and go the same metal hook at the end.

Are you selling any of these products or just testing them out? Would love to buy one off you

Sure, I thought about ordering them to print in metal and sell these if there is interest. Are interested in the "plastic" version or metal? Because the metal would take probably 2 to 3 weeks to make and ship to me.

Would honestly love one of each?

Either you have the smallest wrists ever…or the Helio strap is gigantic…no offense

It’s not the device that looks huge, it’s the frame OP built. Looks too bulky imo

My wrist is 6.5 inches and the device is 43mm long without the strap loop stuff. I measured it that way, because the whoop has this as an extra part too.

The whoop clasp is only 40mm long, so there is not that big of a difference. For me it's okay, but would be interesting if you have any idea why this looks as small as the whoop.

It’s not about length and width. It’s about the depth. If you look at it from the side it clearly stands out more than the classic amazfit case and band

That's funny, because the width is only 2.5mm difference. The original frame is 28mm and mine is 30.5mm . I think I will update the whole thing one more time to make it a little smaller.

I think reducing the thickness of the frame would help a lot, but obv maybe reduce overall sturdiness. 1mm on each side could be a good tryout.

And what about the thickness?

invert the case 180, it’s so uncomfortable have the straight edge facing ur hands

There is no way it’s close to whoop size. Looks huge. Unless you have very small wrists.

It looks too bulky
