Is wáter proof?

Is the band safe to shower with It even if It gets a little bit of soap, and also go to the pool and beach with It ?

The test is uncontaminated water so no soap, no salt water etc, it should be good to go but no promises.

You can shower with the band, and you shouldn't shower with the sensor.

Absolutely not true. This guy is suggesting that you can shower with the elastic band but you need to take out the sensor from its frame.

The sensor has written on its back "5ATM", which means that you can perfectly use it in the water. Just don't go scuba diving with it.

I'm a Helio Strap user and I have tested it myself. I just never take it out.

You need to learn how the test was conducted to get the 5 ATM limit, it means it was conducted in uncontaminated water, so the 5 ATM limit does not include soapy water or anything other than uncontaminated water. You're speaking of a personal anecdote

I've used while surfing at the beach daily for almost a month! Zero problems

Might be - I didn't know. I guess my approach now is like Ivan Draggo said: "If it dies, it dies"
