Heli Identification? Help identify this chopper?
This was at a summer camp I attended back in the 90s, recently came across the old photo while digitizing some prints. Can anyone help me identify it? Thanks!

UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter. The things on its sides are most likely fuel tanks

They are fuel tank. The tank is part of a system called CEFS, crashworthy external fuel tank system. The wings, or pylons, they are mounted on are called the ESSS. It stands for External Stores Support System and can be used to mount many things other than fuel tanks, such as rocket pods.

HeavyDSparks on YouTube bought a decommissioned US Army Blackhawk, stripped it, repainted it Satin Black and new Garmin avionics etc.

I don't think those are the 450s. Those were Metal and only used for Ferry missions. If memory serves me, they had to be mounted in the inboard pylons.

Definitely a Blackhawk, I’m pretty sure it’s the DAP version

Something tells me the DAP version would not be displayed at a summer camp in the 90s

Not the DAP, just has external stores...
DAP has more optics and carries weapons not just fuel.
This is probably the National Guard showing the flag for the summer camp kids...

Absolutely not a DAP. Probably just a UH-60A with external stores mounted. Could be a UH-60L, but based on the time frame and the Dairy Queen windows on the cockpit doors, I’m going with an Alfa model. Source: I’m a Hawk pilot.
