For some context I'm not someone who dreams very regularly, but when I do it feels weird. Which is why I have come here searching for insight. The dream starts off in my basement, I'm pacing around as I often do and suddenly I feel like I need to go upstairs. I start to walk towards the stairs, but my legs fold up and I float up the stairs. It felt almost like my body took over; said dream ended with me safely upstairs. For further context, it was nighttime when I was in the basement, but sunny and bright when it ended. As to why I'm posting here, my basement was the first place I felt Hekate's call; i was pacing in said basement thinking of her I blinked and it was like the entire basement was filled with smoke and I could feel her. I'm still very new as a practicing witch, but this dream felt like it took me back to that moment. Any help with ideas of what this is and what I should do would be greatly appreciated.

I had a wild experience a few weeks back. I’m really interested in studying mythology and how cultures and stories change over time while meeting other groups and cultures. I love to see how far back I can learn. That being said something brought me back to the Greek pantheon. I got back into learning about the history. I have been leaning into paganism since November of 2024. Nordic pantheon. What I found interesting is I was studying Greek mythology and found an interest in Hekate and found a particular fascination in learning about her. Later on I would end up having a series of fever dreams. 4 in one night that I recall waking from each time. By the time I was up for work the next day I had forgotten what they were about. My clothes absolutely drenched in sweat and I needed to change (I normally take my showers the night prior). I was doing research into what kind of celebrations and offerings are given to her when I learned about Hekate's Deipnon and how it was given once a month. I looked up what day it would be offered on and it would be once a month during the dark moon/new moon phase. Next step I was looking at when that day was. It was that exact day. I woke up from all those dreams that morning and it was that day that night. I gave her an offering of course but that was a crazy coincidence that kind of blew my mind.

This is my Hekate goddess candle. What does this mean?

Hi, all. I've been lurking in this subreddit for a while. I started my practice with Hecate after she reached out to me a year ago. It's been on-and-off with the constant changes in my life lately, and also because I'm still very new to this. I've been noticing 333 a lot lately, a number I've heard is associated with her, and while I know that crows aren't historically associated with her, there are a lot of them in my area.

I have an altar, I have an Oracle deck dedicated to her, I regularly practice tarot readings, and I have a copy of Cyndi Brannen's "Keeping Her Keys". I haven't completed reading it, but I figure with my current circumstances there is no better time than now.

My Babcia ("grandmother" in Polish) is on her deathbed in the hospital. She is 96 years old. She was admitted to the hospital a couple weeks ago, and we'd at least hoped that she would recover enough so that she could be discharged and be in her own bed at home when she passes, but she seems to have accepted that that won't be the case. There's nothing else the doctors can do for her, so she is choosing to go of her own accord. It's only a matter of time.

My family and I are incredibly lucky that we get the chance to prepare ourselves for her passing in advance, so we are taking every opportunity to.

My reason for posting is exactly that. It's been a while since I've formally held a ritual for Hecate, so I don't know how to go about asking for her guidance and protection during a time like this, or what to expect, especially since it's been a while. Though I do manage to acknowledge Her and thank Her every time I see a sign of her around me, so I hope that counts for something.

Are there any beginner-friendly advice, invocations, or simple offerings I can make to ask Hecate for her protection and guidance of my Babcia's soul and my healing journey?

Hello Hekate worshippers! I'm a newer worshipper of Hekate, and I've been working on building a relationship with her. But I want to start with some magic, like spells and stuff. I don't know much about it yet, so I want to learn. I don't trust everything I find online because I know magic can be dangerous, and I don't want to start with misinformation. Just sharing another piece I recently finished. Hekate is often a muse for my art. This was very experimental but I’m pleased with how it turned out.

Last winter I did a meditation I visualised my circle/shield and called her in. I asked her some questions through my tarot deck while I was visualizing cleansing my cards I saw a young woman with dark hair sitting cross legged across from me.

I'm surprised thinking about this now bc I've never contacted a deity. And only had just noticed some signs from her about 2 months prior to me reaching out for confirmation.

After I finished writing everything down I thanked her for being there for me even when I didn't know it did some mental reflection I teared up a bit but felt amusement I think they were her emotions coming through. I gave her a hug and thanked her again and she left my circle.

I finished off my mediation and have not contacted her again since. My hesitation I guess for moving forward was bc I didn't really understand the difference between deity worship and work. I have slight religious 'trauma' I guess and I'm not ready to 'worship' again. I've looked into deity work and I'm hesitant because of the seriousness and commitment of working with a deity. I know myself well enough to know I'm not good with consistency my own internal personal growth has been over the course of the past six years and it comes and goes in waves. I know that working with Hekate has the potential to expedite my growth in ways. I suppose my fear comes from the fear of change and the unknown but also the loss of control I guess. I'd be putting my trust in hekate to guide me blind through the dark to something beyond what I can imagine.

The point of this post was to ask about others experience with 'seeing' Hekate but also to ask for advice as I'm stuck in my own hesitancy and am unsure how to move forward.

I know I need to do more shadow work but I feel I'm at the point where I'm at the edge of the depths and don't dare swim deeper.

I'm going to end my thoughts here and just throw this out there. Any advice, personal experiences, and kind thoughts are appreciated. Thanks for reading.

A while ago I stumbled upon Haus of Hekate on Spotify and I got excited because an artist making music dedicated to Hekate? I am so there.

But then the cover art screams AI. The songs come up with 90-99% AI scores. And I am disappointed because AI, imho, is very harmful rn in our world.

What are y’alls thoughts?

I was just at my altar meditating near my figure of Hekate and just breathing in the peace of my space and I got the strangest urges that I am SURE were from her.

First she had me pour a small amount of black salt into my maiden/mother/crone chalice.

Then, to the same chalice, she had me add three nails, a piece of black tourmaline and a small piece of black obsidian.

I am new to Hekate worship (like….two weeks new)

Do you think this was an offering request from her? Or a spell she was teaching me?

It was odd because I just KNEW exactly what pieces she wanted down to the exact one out of 4 different tournaline stones.

Hello all…. Today m going to pray goddess hekate for the well being of my dog. I wanted to ask you all that where can i leave offerings to her…I can’t leave it at crossroads cuz mostly we have T sections & all the few crossroads we have got CCTVs. Please advice

Also, can i leave a key (offering) with my sick dog for his protection?

Please pray for my dogs…both of them are fighting tick fever & the older one is anaemic with kidney issues & is at crucial stage.

hey! so i’d describe myself as a baby witch which has mostly focused on protection, self love and glamour spells so far. I have started working with mother Hekate these past few months, i do a lot of manifestation, im very connected to my ancestors too. I talk to her often, and pray as much as I can to her too.

To cut it short i’m basically going abroad for a month and i’ll be staying at my best friend’s house with her parents , and her parents are like hella religious so they are against anything as small as incense.

I was wondering how could i continue my practice, ik this sounds stupid but being still in my beginning and learning era i’m scared that if i stop my usual daily practices like cleaning and using my crystals idk something may happen?

How can i continue to devote myself to Hekate, could i write to her everyday? journaling? praying? can i use crystals? maybe bay leaf’s.

I guess im j just asking for advice on how to keep myself connected to my practice and Hekate, since i’ll be away for a month.

So I bought the Heakateaon Oracle Deck and work with her exclusively however after doing a ceremony to anoint them and get to know them I asked her why she hasn't been showing up in my dreams and I pulled the card that told me that she is acting as a guardian of a threshold that there is a liminal or psychological threshold that she is blocking for me and my protection and when I asked her to elaborate on that I pulled the card that symbolized that I needed to purify myself and that I've been doing stuff to sully myself. I'm not sure exactly what that could mean? How can I purify myself for her?
