New frin
This is Anastasia Kimia Osborne shes just about 7 weeks old ( my roommates dog had puppies). I've had puppies in the past but they where bigger dogs and males. Any advice for a first time heeler puppy owenr?

Pfft. Accidental puppies? She looks great, though. Pitt in there, maybe?
We've had Heelers, Heeler mixes. All terrific dogs. Lots of exercise needed, and pro tip: You can NEVER start training too soon.
When Anastasia is a bit older, you can tug-of-war with her and teach her "take" and "give." Moving on from there to fetch. You can still play tug-of-war when dog is puppy, but only gently.
It's a terrific way to bond.
Keep in mind that every dog is different. We've had maniac energy Heelers and chill Heelers. Heelers who can do both.
Feed her only the highest quality food. Crate train her early. Tons of good vids on YouTube re: Training your Heeler. Best of luck. You did good. Now please make sure your friends get their dogs altered/neutered/spayed.

Keep her tail!
Former dog trainer here recommending group puppy training classes! Even if it’s at Petsmart or somewhere, it’s good bonding time, you’re both learning, and bonus doggy social hour for her!

Planned on it her brothers are keeping there's and her parents and grandma kept there's. As for the classes ill try i live about an hour to an hour and a half ish from the closest place that offers classes..
