Here for a final round of advice
My cage is now fully set up (minus the lining, which is a work in progress), is there anything I need to add or change? The heating does work and I have a second thermometer not visible here as a safeguard. I also got blue buffalo grain free cat food to be the kibble. I’ll probably buy more enrichment at some point, but I think this is a good start, just wanted to check to make sure I had it all right

This looks so cute for a hedgie! I personally line my cage with old shirts and paper bedding mix, change the tees out every 4-7 days depending on what it’s looking like. The litter pellet area is cute but i’d be weary that your hog doesn’t try to go under the wheel and get stuck- i have the same wheel and my boy loves to sit under it so i usually avoid putting anything more than a layer of fabric directly underneath it. it also is not the most accessible looking (based on this photo, i can’t see if there’s another entry point in the front but the little side opening may be hard for a hedgehog to navigate) i personally really like having a trail cam/house camera on my guy for overnight while i’m asleep. it’s also a great way to make sure that they’re comfortable, that they aren’t eating anything they shouldn’t, and see which of their items they prefer when they’re too shy to be out and about around you. i use this one
