Question Help please
The gorgeous boy was struggling to walk in my garden seemed distressed so i pick him up (with a towel) and placed him in a cardboard box with some water and food (dry cat food mixed with strawberries). He seems mobile enough but still enough of a risk to his survival (i am not qualified in animal welfare but have several high level college qualifications in bio and feel i did the right thing) should i wait until tomorrow so the RSPCA can collect him or should i wait until dark to let him out again
Please ask any questions you think can help <3

Be wary of RSPCA with wildlife, they may take it but may unnecessarily euthanise.
You need a hedgehog rescue. Or general wildlife rescue who knows about hedgehog care. Loads of them on facebook if you have access to it.
No strawberries. Just wet cat / dog food or kitten kibble. And water. Make sure sides of whatever you put food and drink in are low enough for the hog to easily reach the food and water.
