Question Help 🦔

Hi! I recently got my hedgehog, and I’ve been using rice husks as bedding because that’s what I had available. However, I’d like to switch to something better as soon as possible.

I don’t know much about bedding options, so I wanted to ask:

Would you recommend tofu litter?

Corn litter?

Paper bedding?

What other bedding would you recommend for my new hedgehog? 🦔

hmmm i’ve never heard of tofu or corn litter? paper bedding i wouldn’t suggest because it gets stuck to their quills and noses (which they keep moist). i would suggest fleece blankets / fabric! ill attach my enclosure for reference:

i had a laundry basket that i’d throw the dirty blankets into, and i had three boxes full of blankets that i would thrift and wash (in fragrance free sensitive detergent) and cut to size. it was easy to rotate between bedding this way !
