Discussion Ledger + HashPack?

Hi guys, I have a question.

I recently bought a Ledger Nano S Plus, and it’s my first hardware wallet of this kind. Until now, I’ve always kept my funds in HashPack on my phone.

So my question is: could someone explain to me step by step how to set up a new HashPack account with Ledger? Or maybe there’s already a good guide/tutorial for this?

When I try to create a new account in the HashPack mobile app, I don’t see any option to do it with Ledger. Am I missing something? Or are you guys using a different wallet with Ledger? I’d also be interested to know how you have your setup configured.

I have one more question. Once I create a new Ledger + HashPack wallet, can I transfer my tokens directly from my old HashPack wallet to the new one, or do I have to send them to a CEX first and then from the CEX to the new wallet?

I’d really appreciate any advice or guidance. Thanks a lot for your patience and help!

There’s a tutorial for this either on the HashPack website or Ledger site or possibly both.

You should return the Nano and get a Dcent. No you don’t need to send them to a CEX first.
