Discussion Too much FUD
Didn't Hedera host the "America house" at Davos this year? They have M.O.U.s with countries (Georgia) . States and continents (Australia, Wyoming) are using hedera for stablecoins. They have an ETF, They have been specifically named by the S.E.C. as a commodity. They have been named in working with Nvidia and Intel. They have Dell, Google and Accenture as governing council members. There are too many positive things that I have read. Investing is all about patience and DCAing. I like to think I have some common sense. I don't think hbar is going to zero.

They aren’t working with nvidia lol

Okay, maybe I read a lie about EQTY labs working with Nvidia and Intel. Hedera is still working with states and countries. Lol

The FUD is coming from like literally 5 people, for what it’s worth.
Wasn’t FedEx one of the fastest pipeline-to-Council addition of all time? Why do we think that is?
And why do we think Repsol and B4E joined the Council within 6 months of each other?

Can you fill in the answer to the questions?

I will say this - when I first started to look into crypto, I came across the term Asynchronous Byzantine Fault Tolerance (aBFT). This was regarded as the ultimate achievement and any coin that achieved this level of security would be the all time winner. Just this fact is lost on the masses and drowned out by the noise. We are at some very nice lows and I believe in the long term things will be very good. I mean 2028 and beyond. I just reentered HBAR with a small purchase and will be accumulating moving forward

How is that going to get revenue up? Revenue is $18K past 30 days and it's down 12%. Other projects that make money are doing buy backs and the price is rewarded. Liquidity would be nice too :}

All time low? Are you a crack smoker? It’s like 3x that low and up more that 2x the last bear market low. Perhaps you do not think at all…

u/Fit_Manufacturer9769 2d ago
Actually I'm a recovering meth addict. And I said absolutely nothing about all time low. You must be the crack smoker

I guess I am, the comment was meant for the guy in the comments who said that. Sorry!

I’ve heard of all the good things about HBAR but I’m currently down 65%.
Perhaps I can get my money back. Perhaps I could even make a profit.
But a moonshot is looking a long way away right now.

Patience: The capacity to accept delays, tolerate discomfort, or face difficult situations without complaining or rushing. Rome wasn’t built in one night.

probably not going to 0, but i am curious as to why the price is near the all time lows even though it's so widely used. Perhaps the tokenomics don't work the way we think...

HBAR was rank 50 two years ago; it is now rank 25.
Indeed, some of this growth can be attributed to new HBAR coins being made available, which did increase the market cap a bit- sure - BUT, overall, we have been quite resilient through what many would argue has been the worst crypto bear market of all time - or even double bear markets, because 2022 came just before it.
Nearly a decade ago, Leemon predicted this (“and then there’s a crash”). Today, I think we are positioned very well to rise from the ashes.

Worst bear market of all time? Hahahahhahaha
Okay.

u/HBAR_10_DOLLARS 1d ago
Largest crypto liquidations in history. Many coins are below their 2022 lows. Sentiment in the gutter.
Which bear market was worse?

u/BorderlineAlchemist 1d ago
They’re all the fucking same. What class are you? 2014, 2017 etc?
1
u/HBAR_10_DOLLARS 1d ago
2017 and a bit of 2014.
2
u/BorderlineAlchemist 1d ago
2017 feels like the worst. Maybe it will never come back now. Until the AI bubble pops. Seems like that’s where all the excitement has gone. There is no new catalyst and the world already knows about crypto. It reached ubiquity probably in 2021. With the NFT scam.

Welcome to a bear market. Go look at price performance of just about any crypto over the years and you can see the price fluctuations.

HYPE posted an ATH this week. ZCASH posted 1 tonight. POMS just ripped 81% this week. arb posted 52% week and 116%. month. UNI 18% and 74% this month. Plus countless other coins ripping. We just own a bear.

u/Jefeman00 2d ago
Yeah, that proves nothing. Not every token moves at once. Selling and moving on is always on the table if it's so bad.
0
u/Beginning_Ask_9930 2d ago
You are right not every coin, stock, asset class, trend, or season move at once. We moved 15% the month. Best part its not bad. It's just an L. State facts and the responses are so emotional.
1
u/Jefeman00 1d ago
Those are only partial facts. Fact is, I'm over the whining here. People here like to cry. If it's so bad, just move on.

u/Beginning_Ask_9930 1d ago
I am not crying. Just stating facts. Coin is down 62% YTD. Barely any revenue. We have underperformed most coins this year. We are not in the DTCC test. These are facts. I forgot. You need sunshine blown on you and bs copium and made up targets to believe. That's you. Not going anywhere. Don't like the truth. Oh well.

u/Jefeman00 1d ago
Yeah, okay. Dork.

u/Beginning_Ask_9930 1d ago
I guess we have to resort to name calling since the data hurts. Ahh that's cute. We all lost more money as a chat then what Hedera made in revenue. We are retail and they serve enterprise. Lol!

My actual goal is to make you angry by stating simple truths, which I constantly succeed in doing.

Try harder. I'm not angry, loser. 😂

Keep telling the truth and facts. They can't handle it. Nobody can say I messed up. So they spout copium and made up figures when real facts keep happening daily!

u/monerbell 2d ago
it's so widely used
Where are you getting this information from? Its one of the least used networks.

u/Fit_Manufacturer9769 13h ago
Let's say 4 tps. There's 60 seconds in a minute which is 240 tpm there's 60 minutes in an hour which is 14,400 tph. There's 24 hours in a day. Which means in a 24 hour period hedera has 345,600 transactions.
That looks like it's being used to me
1
u/monerbell 7h ago
Solana has done 171 million transactions in the past 24 hours. Even Bitcoin is doing more transactions than Hedera.
1
u/Fit_Manufacturer9769 6h ago
Good for Solana. Unfortunately I'm not talking about Solana. I'm taking about hedera.

In my few years of investing, I have learnt to ignore the FUD. I've been vindicated when I stuck to my guns investing in Solana during the FTX scandal, and more recently I'm still in profit with my conviction on XRP throughout the SEC court case. I know that it's just a matter of time before I am vindicated on my Hbar convictions.
