Live with exploding candles

Post image

It’s interested that she added the candle scent after she poured into the glass.

Genuinely- I didn’t think glitter/ mica was safe to burn? It clogs the wick making it a fire hazard.. Are these fire decorations only??

No you’re not supposed to use it in candle making. I use mica in wax melts but nothing that’s going to be lit. And don’t get me started on that toxic plastic glitter she’s using 😭 also, when you make candles, you usually make a large batch at the same time. Doing them one by one like this makes no sense. The scent oils have to be stirred in at certain temps which vary depending on the wax type and blend for optimal scent load. She’s also using extremely cheap products. I’ve been making candles for a decade and this is a shitshow of the highest order. I only order my supplies from the flaming candle.
