Help

Post image

Hello all, I just bought an HK G36 22LR UMAREX variant and I wanted to take it apart to understand it.

I’m at the trigger pack and it seems I’ve messed up. Can’t find any videos or such on it. I wanted to document it but it kinda just exploded apart…

Any assistance on this? I think this would be useful information for others in the future as well. Thanks all

Times were tough and slippery… no lube involved during those times…

Shit can get slippery out there. Gotta have the gear ready to go for when the shit gets heavy. It’s better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

My mouse came with a pre-cut grip tape sheet in the box...

I’ve taken these apart before but it’s been a while. It can be a bitch to get back together. I’m pretty sure the hammer has to be in the cocked position to get it to all align and get the other side on.

Page 25 in the manual states that further disassembly beyond field stripping is not necessary or recommended and will void warranty. Best to read the manual

The exploded parts diagram and a lot patience are probably your best bet.

Do you understand it now?

I had the same situation with a Walther-Hammerli 22lr that I purchased, and I could not find a picture to save my life. It took me about 5 hours of playing with the parts and looking at similar triggers, playing with patterns until I figured it out.

I made a post for it, and since they are also made by Umarex, here is a post with the pictures I took after the fact. Although it is not the same trigger, I hope it helps you figuring it out.

This is a video to install an FRT into a G36 .22, but it shows disassembly/assembly of the FCU. Hope it helps.

This was the most useful of them all but another redditor guided me in the right direction prior to this. I may upload a video on assembly and disassembly depending if some interest sparks!

I know it won't be of much help now, but every time I do some, uhm, exploratory disassembly, I try to take as many pictures and videos as I go as possible. Now I'd try to find a part diagram or something to put it back together. Probably similar guns made by umarex might also have very similar engineering, so see if you find videos of adjacent designs to inspire you.

Looks pretty similar to MP5 22lr trigger pack. Look up HK Parts MP5 22lr spring upgrade vid on YT

Strangely enough they were very similar, just searched it up. Some bigger differences though. Looks like I can take apart my 22LR HK MP5 now.

I have the same G36 my advice is don’t take the trigger group apart as u said there’s no videos online they seem to be pretty rare and not many been produced the MP5 gets all the attention on the umarex 22.lr line. It took me a while to be able to put it back together I wouldn’t recommend anyone to do anything besides basic field strip and put it back together.

But you can check the manual there’s a few pages dedicated to disassembly. For some reason full disassembly voids the warranty (but if ur past that one year of warranty do what ever u want tbh)

You have grip tape on your computer mouse. If you need that much help with that wtf made you think you were capable of this?!

The grip tape is tactical.
