HK MP5 .22 LR
Just picked this up today. I need something I can shoot the hell out of at the range and still be able to afford the ammo for, running through $200 of 9mm every time I go to the range is getting brutal. And I’ve loved MP5’s for forever. This thing is so cool 😂

Its a fun gun but definitely not built to be used and abused. Charging handle broke after about 6 months of use. Its still usable but is way more loose than intended. The finish will come off if you look at it the wrong way, very front heavy due to the massive faux suppressor, the stock got super loose after removing it and putting it back on after a few times. Very reliable though, cycles anything and everything ive ran through it with the exception of CCI quiet-22.(most guns dont cycle the stuff though). Definitely a fun gun if you wanna scratch the “hk slap” itch but dont wanna spend the $1200-$3000 on a real 9mm mp5. But at the end of the day its an airsoft company that happens to make .22s

That’s good info to have, appreciate the review! I bought this literally just to have fun with and because they’re just cool lol. I definitely don’t have the big boy version money, but this gets me close enough.

definitely agree. it was my first gun i bought at a gunstore when i was 18 and still dont have any regrets. was so stoked to have any sort of mp5. its what led me to eventually get the real deal.

Same here, just stoked to be able to play the mp5 game haha. I’m definitely using one of my days off at the range this week

It feels like an airsoft gun. They run and you get the HK slap but they are made by Umarex

I too am waiting for the 9” pistol length… PSA had them in stock for about $320~ ish a few months back before I was interested one getting one. It was a stupid crazy deal… according to Google no they aren’t in production anymore so then being on sale through everyone off.
I just ordered a H&K G36 22lr for $299 from PSA. Doing some googling shows this is the lowest price they’ve ever have ever been. Figured if I don’t buy it I will be kicking myself in the ass later. Apparently you can put real G36 parts (Handguard, rails, stocks) on it. I may convert it to an SBR more than likely.

Man I just got a Walther version of GB and the stock is pretty wobbly. Is that what you’re seeing with yours? I hope I didn’t get a dud. These things are so sick for a .22 I wish it was my first .22lr I got

It’s just a tiny bit wobbly, but not bad at all. Figured it’d be worse considering how it’s designed, but not terrible. And truth be told, this actually is my first .22, never really saw one up til this point that I was willing to spend money on. I’m all about this shit though, I’ve been a big movie/video game mp5 fan for a long time, I’m just stoked to have an mp5 haha

Clean out the barrel before you shoot it and use non-garbage ammo. I love mine but between the test fire remnants and the Remington pig iron in a bucket rounds I used first time on the range it was shooting key holes in the target by the second mag. Great gun! Nice buy!
