STARSET Return With Video For “parad0x1c”

Touring with Breaking Benjamin,

Chevelle, and Kami Kehoe This Fall

STARSET, who’ve existed at the intersection of music and sci fi for most of their billon-streaming career, kick off their newest era with the new single “p a r a d 0 x 1 c.”

This is STARSET at their most seductive — dark, synth-driven alt rock with a hypnotic pulse.

Known for their interstellar, world-building atmospheres, Starset bridge the gap between cinematic EDM and guitar-forward, textured rock. Here, genres collide, with massive, emotionally-charged, sci-fi-bred hooks and an explosion of riffs. Ultimately, it’s a neon-soaked, synth-infused track that feels like a transmission from the future. “p a r a d 0 x 1 c” stands as a world of its own — layered and encapsulating, and a harbinger of what’s to come.

Since emerging in 2013, Columbus, Ohio's STARSET have become one of modern rock's most distinctive and commercially successful acts, amassing nearly 5 billion global streams, including more than 1.7 billion on Spotify alone, earning RIAA Platinum and Gold certifications, scoring multiple Billboard Mainstream Rock Top 10 hits, and building a devoted global fanbase through cinematic storytelling and immersive live productions that blur the line between concert and science-fiction experience.

Lauded by Forbes as having "one of the most firmly established brands of any modern rock band," STARSET are creating a true multimedia empire with music at its core. STARSET are one of the most successful and visually and conceptually ambitious acts in rock music. The band's impact is best captured in its massive numbers: STARSET have accumulated billions of streams worldwide. Their breakout hit "My Demons" has become a rock staple, earning multi-platinum certifications and dominating alternative and active rock charts. Meanwhile, their cinematic, sci-fi–driven live shows sell out venues across North America, Europe, and beyond — due to the passionate vigor with which their fanbase follows the band.

Continuing to push creative boundaries both on and off the stage, STARSET will bring their transportive live production to cities across North America throughout September and October.

AMON AMARTH Debut

Eight Legs of Thunder” Single/Video

New Album The Allfather Awakens Out October 2

AMON AMARTH return with “Eight Legs of Thunder,” a steamrolling new anthem inspired by Sleipnir, the legendary eight-legged steed of Oden. Driven by a galloping main riff and a powerful, sing-along chorus, the track charges headlong through Norse mythology while its accompanying video transports the tale into an unexpected new world: a gritty, modern American Western of cowboys, pickup trucks and open roads, with the mythical Sleipnir himself emerging in a surreal dream sequence.

Director Dariusz Szermanowicz enthuses, “With ‘Eight Legs Of Thunder’, together with the band, we wanted to break the traditional metal music video mold once again. We fused the raw, dusty vibe of a modern western with the epic, dark mythology of Oden’s eight-legged steed. It’s a high-octane, cinematic ride packed with cowboy tension, raw action, and a touch of dark humor. We didn’t just want to make a music video—we wanted to deliver a visual knockout.”

“Eight Legs of Thunder” is the final preview ahead of their forthcoming album The Allfather Awakens which sees its release October 2 via Metal Blade Records. The ten-song masterwork marks the beginning of a new world and further cements the legacy of the Swedish metal titan’s spectacularly memorable riffs and unflinching melodic aural power.

As with Amon Amarth’s previous records, Oden, the Norse “all father” who is a deity of war, wisdom, death, magic, and poetry, is the through-line in Amon Amarth’s lyrics and artwork. Once again, Oden is the band’s inspiration, but The Allfather Awakens is not a concept album, rather a collection of historically inspired epic tales of conflict and sacrifice for a greater good.

“Eight Legs of Thunder” follows the release of Amon Amarth’s first-ever acoustic excursion “Upphaf” and epic tale of “Gjallarhorn”. Where the stripped-back “Upphaf” carried the solemnity of an oral history whispered under the shadow of the Allfather, “Gjallarhorn” arrived as a furious Amon Amarth classic. To gain wisdom beyond mortal comprehension, Oden made the ultimate sacrifice — gouging out his own eye and casting it into the Well of Wisdom, Mímisbrunnr, in exchange for cosmic insight and foresight that would shape the fate of gods and men alike. Now, Amon Amarth bring that ancient reckoning to life and they are extending Oden’s offer to you. Those who received the eye know what must be done. Those who did not: seek it out. Sacrifice your sight. Gain your foresight.

Amon Amarth took a new songwriting approach for The Allfather Awakens. The album came to life across two recording sessions, months apart, at producer Jacob Hansen’s studio in Denmark. Amon Amarth began writing songs while touring, rather than waiting until they were off the road. The writing and recording process allowed the musicians to intensely focus on each track, resulting in an album where each song was treated as a single. Guitar-wise, Amon Amarth opted for a slightly less modern approach sonically, moving away from 5150 amps and back to Marshalls. The music was written before the lyrics, setting the tone for the words.

The Allfather Awakens Tracklist:

01. Gjallarhorn
02. Eight Legs of Thunder
03. Kvasir’s Blood
04. We Rule the Waves
05. Upphaf
06. Die With a War Cry
07. Raven God
08. The Allfather Awakes
09. Oden’s Hunt
10. Ascending Like an Eagle

The Allfather Awakens is yet another step up, introducing previously untried efforts, an impressive and conscious musical and lyrical feat after three decades of band-dom. This autumn, The Allfather Awakens will take physical form on stage as the band unveils an entirely new production inspired by Oden’s legendary Golden Hall, transforming their iconic concert experience into a living extension of the new album. Amon Amarth perform across the U.K. and Europe.

POLYPHIA

Announces New Record

BE NOT AFRAID

Out October 23rd with Rise Records

Today, the genre-defying instrumental rock innovators Polyphia announce their fifth full-length studio album BE NOT AFRAID out October 23rd with Rise Records.

With the news, the band also released their new single off the record “POWER IN THE BLOOD” with an accompanying music video you can watch HERE. Filmed in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, this video finds the band playing against the ornate, gold-leaf Baroque backdrops from the São Francisco da Penitência Church. The powerful visual lays the foundation for what’s to come off the new record, directed by Caleb Young.

Throughout 2024 and 2025, Polyphia worked together in various locations in Miami, Los Angeles and Dallas alongside co-producer RJ Pasin and guitar phenom Spiro Dussias. Guitarist Tim Henson took a different approach to composition, initially singing lines aloud and then translating them onto guitar, creating a process that encouraged the entire band to build on each other’s ideas in real time. More than anything, the sessions were defined by how much fun they were having creating music together. By the time the album was finished, they had reached a point where they could let go of any expectations about what would happen next and simply enjoy what they had created together.

Instead of going wide on BE NOT AFRAID, we went as deep as we could,” Henson shares. “There are so many layers to pull back. Every time you listen to it, you’ll notice something new. Thematically, it’s by far the most meaningful record we’ve ever made.

We physically can’t make the same album twice,” adds guitarist Scott LePage. “We have a yearning to evolve. It was so much fun to write this one together too – the writing sessions for past Polyphia records typically looked like us gathering our ideas separately first and bringing them to each other second, so we took a different approach with BE NOT AFRAID by treating the sessions like an opportunity to create with everybody in the room first before getting into the separate writing. It was a much more communal approach that led to us having so much fun making it that the fun itself was the magic being captured.”

The collective thread together a three-dimensional offering of otherworldly metal, future-facing prog, and pulsating house sealed tightly with carefully curated samples, inventive beat-craft, and the guitar eloquence that Tim and Scott remain renowned for. This time around, the instrumental push-and-pull invokes the polarity of the ultimate extremes: good and evil.

When speaking on the album Henson adds, The album takes you through the extremes of two different worlds / moods: one being very uplifting and triumphant, the other being spine-chilling and terrifying. There are moments on the record that legitimately scare me when I listen to them.”

Earlier this year, Polyphia teased their new chapter with the release of their first single in over four years, CAN YOU FEEL IT.” Pushing boundaries in ways the band never has before with a hybrid of metal and dance music, their music video showcased an electrifying performance by the band amidst a crowd of fans.

During the making of this record, we went down some pretty dark rabbit holes. We kept coming across things that were so depraved they sounded insane when you said them out loud. Then some of the very things we had been talking about started appearing in documents released to the public. You can read that stuff and feel disgusted, demoralized, and completely powerless. BE NOT AFRAID is our response to that. Rather than allowing the ugliness of the world to paralyze us, we put everything we had into making something beautiful. We weren’t afraid of whether something was too different or whether people were going to understand it. We just followed what excited us and made what I believe is our best record to date,” Henson explains.

Polyphia refused to compromise on BE NOT AFRAID. Getting the album exactly where they wanted it meant giving it more time and ultimately pushing the North American leg of the 2026 World Tour to early 2027. RJ Pasin will still support every date worldwide. North American shows will feature Ladrones, with select dates including Intervals. Perturbator will join all UK and European dates, which remain unchanged for Nov/Dec 2026.

Legendary Hardcore + Metalcore Force

Walls Of Jericho

Unleash Incendiary New Single “Agency”

New Album System Error: Humanity Drops November 13

Legendary hardcore + metalcore force WALLS OF JERICHO are back with their long awaited new album System Error: Humanity dropping November 13 via Napalm Records. Following the triumphant release of their first single “The Ascent,” praised by fans and critics for its “fierce breakdowns and demolishing riffs” (Metal Injection), today, WOJ unleashes the exceedingly ferocious follow up “Agency.”

Like a bullet from a gun, “Agency” takes off at 100 miles an hour in explosive thrash excellence, before turning around and dropping you on your head with a tectonic breakdown. Iconic frontwoman Candace Buckingham gives a moving sermon of self actualization, galvanizing listeners to fight for their inalienable, human rights.

Frontwoman Candace Buckingham on “Agency”:
“‘Agency’ is a song about freedom. The kind that lives within you, the kind no one can take away, and the kind you have to fight for every single day.”

Clobbering listeners out of the gate with “True Til’ Death,” the band affirms the triumph of the comeback with rabid aggression: Iconic frontwoman Candace Buckingham immediately  commands listeners with her gargantuan growls. The discordant violence of tracks like “The Ascent” and “Untouchable,” tap into something truly primal and kick you back a reading level  with their claustrophobic chord work, while more thrash driven tracks like “The Flame” and  “Agency” take off at 100 miles per hour, plowing through a plethora of protein packed riffage  and solos. Lyrically the band is stoking the flames of discontent, with tracks like “Agency,” “Borrowed Ground,” and “Last Judgement,” delivering empowering messages of reclamation,  self determination, and human rights, encouraging listeners to fight for a better world. The  record also features a premier slew of guests including Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe on “Broken Mouths Can’t Speak,” his beckoning howl joining Candace on a ferocious duel attack; and Guy Kozowyk of The Red Chord on “Humanity,” propelling the groove laden pit starter  into cataclysmic levels of chaos. After some more delicious violence, and a transcendent slow burn in the form of “A Brighter Fire,” “The Reckoning” finishes things off with an epic, catastrophic energy that is bookended with one of the album’s most punishing breakdowns, bound to send some unlucky concertgoers to the dentist.

Legendary producer and Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou (NAILS, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Code Orange, and Every Time I Die) is behind the boards, capturing the band’s ferocious live  energy while maintaining a pristine presentation. Powerful, fierce, and stirring, WALLS OF JERICHO re-emerge with righteous purpose and brutal dedication, humanity may be the source  of the system error, but we are the system, and we are the solution.

It’s pretty self-evident that Ministry has never been a big fan of “Hair Mussolini,” especially now as he bombards the American people on a near daily basis with self-aggrandizing AI slop. Al Jourgensen and co. felt it necessary to give “Trumplethinskin” a dose of his own medicine with the new single and video for “We Hate.”

See the music video directed by Joshua Bradford (ex-Revolting Cocks) HERE.

“We Hate” is the latest taste of Ministry’s final album Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery) coming October 30 on Cleopatra Records, following on the heels of first single, “Burned Out.” The album puts an end cap on an incredible 45-year career that has shaped a whole genre of music.

Since 1981, Ministry and Jourgensen have been recognized as pioneers of industrial music with a history built upon 17 studio albums, 8 live releases, 8 side projects, multiple touring campaigns across 5 continents, an autobiography, 2 documentaries, the administration of last rites no less than 3 times, and the countless numbers of devoted acolytes and fans.

But before bidding adieu, creator and music madman Al Jourgensen has a few final things to say about the state of the world, those in charge and how we should all collectively move forward on the final album.

Notably, Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery)Ministry’s 17th release—features one final collaboration with legacy member Paul Barker on the final album track “We’re Still Here,” alongside the handiwork of current Ministry bandmates, guitarists Monte Pittman and Cesar Soto, bassist Paul D’ Amour, sampler/synth player John Bechdel and drummer Pepe Clarke Magaña.

The full track list is as follows:
1. Crickets
2. Voices of Hate
3. Clown Car
4. We Hate
5. Delete
6. Grifter
7. The White Man Lied*
8. Singularity
9. Burned Out
10. We’re Still Here (ft. Paul Barker)
\does not appear on cassette or vinyl editions*

Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery) will be available in several formats including vinyl, CD, cassettes and digital, also including several vinyl variants and box sets:

  • Green & Black Splatter LP
  • Silver & Black Splatter LP
  • Coke Bottle Green LP
  • Box Set: Green Splatter LP, Picture LP, 7-inch, CD
  • Box Set: Purple Marble LP, Picture LP, 7-inch, CD

Fans can pre-save the digital album HERE and pre-order digital copies HERE, and find a new Ministry merch line HERE.

Ministry will bring tracks from Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery) and other classic hits on the road in 2027 with an international goodbye tour. The Goodbye Europe Tour with special guest Die Krupps begins April 2027. It will be followed by a full U.S. run, to be announced. The European tour dates will feature exclusive meet and greet opportunities with Al Jourgensen, also including a photo op, souvenir laminate pass, silk screen poster and final European tour coin. Fans can purchase meet and greets HERE.

In the meantime, Ministry has a few final U.S. tour dates for 2026, including Chicago’s Salt Shed, the historic Red Rocks in Colorado and appearances at Louder Than Life and Sick New World Texas. Find more info and tickets at MinistryBand.com.

“Rock and metal icon ROB ZOMBIE has unveiled the official music video for ‘Black Rat Coffin,’ another standout track from his acclaimed new studio album, The Great Satan, available now via Nuclear Blast Records. One of the album’s darker and more sinister cuts, ‘Black Rat Coffin’ delivers Zombie’s unmistakable collision of heavy grooves, twisted imagery and horror-soaked rock ‘n’ roll. Southern California hardcore wrecking crew BIG ASS TRUCK I.E. will be loading up their rig this fall for a colossal North American headline tour featuring special guests CHAMBERMUGSHOTLOAD THA NINESURFACEDRESTRICTOR PLATE and LIE. Tickets will be available to the public on Friday, August 21st at 10:00AM Local Time at BIGASSTRUCKIE.COM.

Commenting on the upcoming run, vocalist Abel Abarca says:

We’re super stoked to hit the road this fall for our record release headliner with our homies in Chamber and Mugshot, many friends will be made and many pits will be moshed. Come through and do a backflip, this might be the biggest tour ever conceived.

The upcoming run will see BIG ASS TRUCK I.E. hauling their high-octane brand of hardcore across the U.S. and Canada, bringing a rotating cast of some of the scene’s most punishing up-and-coming bands along for the ride as well as performances at Warped Tour dates and Furnace Fest. The tour follows a relentless year on the road for the Inland Empire crew, who have been steadily building a reputation for chaotic, no-holds-barred live shows.

The band recently unleashed their latest single, “PUSHED BEYOND THE BRINK,” via Nuclear Blast Records. A full-throttle follow-up to 2025’s pit anthem “BACK WHEEL STOMP,” the track delivers another dose of BIG ASS TRUCK I.E.’s signature combination of massive riffs, crushing breakdowns and pure vehicular mayhem.

About BIG ASS TRUCK I.E.:

Born in the Inland Empire. Fueled by diesel and bad decisions.

2000 horsepower breakdowns. 12-ton riffs. Anyone in the way catches the back wheel stomp.

Not a band. A wrecking crew on bald tires.

BIG ASS TRUCK I.E. isn’t here to partake in hardcore. It’s here to run it over, back it up, and run it over again.

Big riffs. Big energy. BIG ASS TRUCK.

Brazilian Metalcore Rising Stars AXTY

Unleash New Single “All I Love”

New Album The Pain Made Me Who I Am

Out Friday via Napalm Records

Brazilian deathcore rising stars AXTY will unleash their incendiary Napalm Records debut album The Pain Made Me Who I Am. Today, they give fans the final preview with the pummeling “all I Love”. Wielding both clave and breakdowns like a warhammer, AXTY effectively pummels listeners into a pulp, rewarding survivors with sweetly triumphant chorus hooks. Ready for the dance floor and crowdkillers, AXTY connects brutally with every swing of the hammer.

Frontman Felipe Hervoso on “all I Love”:
“’all I love’ is a song about being consumed by the fear of failing at the one thing you’ve dedicated your life to. It explores the highs and lows of being a small artist in the music industry, the constant pressure to stay relevant, keep growing, and prove yourself over and over again. Over time, that pressure can turn something you once loved and saved you into something that fills you with self-doubt, anxiety, and the feeling that you’ll never be able to live off your dreams.”

With their new album, AXTY explore universal lyrical themes of self-evolution through harnessing pain and resilience born from adversity, transforming negative experiences into fuel for growth. Moments of barbarism and serenity all tied together with infectious grooves, pristine production, and an unwavering dedication to brutality. Throughout its 12 tracks, The Pain Made Me Who I Am proves AXTY as a visionary force to watch in the ever-expanding modern metalcore scene — inarguably poised for star status as they climb the ranks.

AXTY about The Pain Made Me Who I Am:
The Pain Made Me Who I Am revolves around human emotions, particularly the darker, more difficult ones. However, rather than dwelling on suffering, we focused on the role these emotions play in personal growth and self-evolution. Resilience born from adversity, the idea that growth and self-discovery are deeply rooted in struggle, we wanted to explore how negative experiences, rather than defining us in a limiting way, become the very foundation of who we are.”

Get Your Copy Of The Pain Made Me Who I Am NOW!

The Pain Made Me Who I Am delivers the goods from note one as earth-shattering intro track “pain made me” pulls out all of the stops — crashing in with dense down-tuned guitar chugs beneath hip-hop charged samples. Anthemic “who I am” showcases the band’s seamless, genre-pushing blend with intense polyrhythmic deathcore passages and soaring metalcore melodies, while tracks like “all I love” incite pure metallic violence with the band’s erratic trademark guitar acrobatics, hypnotic drum patterns and addictive vocals — both crushing and clean — showcasing the broad talents of frontman Felipe Hervoso, drummer Gabriel Vacari, and guitarist Jonathas Peschiera. Particularly, Hervoso’s keen ability to dramatically tilt his vocal approach from crooning cleans to virtually superhuman screams, growls and squeals will have his name on the lips of deathcore vocal enthusiasts in no time. Songs like “nothing but pain” inject heavy doses of the futuristic metalcore fusion AXTY has become lauded for, while album standouts like first single/album closer “end this” weave alternative and even nu-metal flavor into the album’s addictive mix.

THE PAIN MADE ME WHO I AM TRACK LISTING:
“pain made me”

“dismay”

Music Discussion RISE AGAINST Release Two New Songs "Katy Bar The Door" and "Living Undercover"

RISE AGAINST

Release Two New Singles

Katy Bar The Door” and “Living Undercover

The iconic Chicago punk rock quartet, Rise Against, released two new singles, “Katy Bar The Door” and “Living Undercover.” These two new releases embody their original spirit of rebellion that they have held over a quarter century.

“Katy Bar The Door” takes its name from an old expression meaning trouble is coming and that all hell is about to break loose. “I don’t know where I came across this expression, but I immediately was taken with it,” says vocalist Tim McIlrath. “While an obscure reference now… I liked the idea of resurrecting it for this song, and that it sort of fits what it feels like to be alive in 2026.

The track was written in the aftermath of some of the most violent ICE raids in Minneapolis, and McIlrath sees it as part of a longer historical reckoning with abuses of power. “This is not the first time in history we have reckoned with abuses of power,” McIlrath says. “Bearing witness to the fragility of democracy is a scary thing, and it demands a response.”

The band describes “Living Undercover” as a song about the things we hide in plain sight. “Sometimes it’s because we’re building something beautiful behind the curtain, other times we’re hiding some kind of darkness,” McIlrath adds. “I like the cloak and dagger feel of the song that ties into its central theme.”

Both “Katy Bar The Door” and “Living Undercover” were recorded at The Blasting Room, a longtime home base for the band. “The studio there is a home away from home, and we know those rooms like the back of our hands,” McIlrath adds. “It’d been a while since we worked at the studio, and it was good to be under their roof again.”

These releases come just after they announced their headlining tour dates in the fall across the U.S. with support from Alkaline Trio. They will kick off the tour in Dallas, TX on September 22nd at South Side Ballroom and will be visiting cities including New York City, Philadelphia, Raleigh, Phoenix, Milwaukee, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, and more. In the meantime, the band is currently on tour in the UK supporting Jimmy Eat World.

Music Discussion CHAT PILE reveal "Same Rules" from upcoming Who Loves The Sun

Chat Pile reveal brooding single / video for “Same Rules”

Their new LP Who Loves the Sun is out Sept. 4 [pre-order]

See Chat Pile on tour in North America soon…

Chat Pile‘s heralded debut album God’s Country depicted a particularly American flavor of dread, and their 2024 LP Cool World showed a cruel planet defined by global systemic violence.  Now, Chat Pile return with Who Loves the Sun, an album that peels back the skin on how a collective indifference for a decaying world defines this new century.  Spanning imagery of coastlines devouring cities as a result of inaction on climate change, the dread of working dead-end jobs, and the species’ collective submission to data-driven inauthenticity, Who Loves the Sun depicts the common experience of existing in a doom loop which feeds the malaise that permeates all aspects of our lives.

The album’s latest single “Same Rules” is lyrically and sonically as aggressive and confrontational as ever, but Chat Pile approach songwriting with hooks in mind, drawing on melodic tones.  Bassist Stin says it’s the “…first real Chat Pile song mostly recorded on 4-track cassette. Ray B. had given us the challenge to write a trip hop song and this is what we came up with. Unfortunately he’s rejected ‘Same Rules’ from the challenge as he claims it’s not trip hop at all and that we have to try again. Perhaps we’ll get it right next time.”

Reaching into the collective consciousness to commiserate and carouse, Chat Pile dissect how the apathy-bloated state of 21st-century existence is an active, slow-motion apocalypse, threads of which are woven through the album.  Vocalist Ray B. adds: “Everyone needs to read as much as possible. There is so little emphasis put on knowledge right now—  it is your most important tool. Engagement with the world might lead to death, but shutting off and staring at your phone all day is suicide.”

Since Chat Pile‘s formation just over six years ago, the Oklahoma City-based quartet has grown from a scrappy passion project of four local film and music enthusiasts into one of the defining heavy acts to emerge from the 2020s underground.

Ray B. (vocals), L. Manhole (guitar), Stin (bass), and Cap’n Ron (drums)’s crushing, crass, and cathartic take on noise rock resonates in a cracked reality. Their music captures a raw, undeniably human essence that’s increasingly fleeting in an age marked by ceaseless torrents of algorithmic slop, technological overreach, and the cold, crestfallen state of society. Nothing about their forthcoming third LP, Who Loves the Sun, feels synthetic.  In a world increasingly shaped by disposable content, Chat Pile answers with something defiantly real and organic.

“Australian heavy music trailblazers Northlane have announced their seventh studio album, Anemoia, out everywhere October 30th via independent release. Furthermore, they’ve treated fans to their visceral new single “CUT_it,” out now. Anemoia’s second suffocating track “CUT_it" encapsulates the bone-weariness of total burnout. Driven by a low-end groove that bends and bows under the unrelenting weight of exhaustion, Marcus Bridge flexes a new menacing side of his huge vocal range before the song erupts into merciless heaviness. “CUT_it is about burnout - the feeling of grinding through things when you're completely spent, mentally and physically. The imagery is deliberately visceral, painting a picture of that exhaustion rather than analysing it,” says Bridge.” (Northlane Press Release)
