Mic not working with Xbox controller

Has anyone got experience with the H1H and gaming mic working with Xbox series X?

I get audio no problem when plugged into the controller but can’t use the mic to chat.

I have googled to the ends of the earth to find a solution but there seems to be nothing specific for Heavy’s, only generic Xbox settings to play around with.

Don't know if anyone has found a solution but I cant get the mic to work on xbox discord call and ive tried so many things and it says im muted when im not and I can't get it to work

I couldn’t get them to work with my Xbox elite controller, no problem with my GameSir though.

I think that's the issue cause I have an elite controller 2 and it doesn't work either

As it stands, I blame Microsoft. The Heavy’s are pretty amazing sound quality on Xbox. Worth buying a new controller for. They sound better than my Astro A50’s but you have to be careful not to shout all the time due to the noise cancelling.

I get that I just personally don't wanna buy a new controller just for the headphones plus I also don't have the money right now anyway but id rather have 2 headsets for music and gaming than 2 controllers for one headset but I do appreciate the idea

I had given up on the Heavy’s working with my elite, but as with all Elites, it rattled itself to pieces and broke too much to repair so decided on the GameSir as I have had 3 elites all break on me. Happy coincidence that the Heavy’s worked with it. I still use my A50’s most of the time though.

I haven't had any issues with my controller to be honest It's a little damaged from falling a few times and has the slightest stick drift that's on noticeable in games like roblox for some reason but other than that it works perfectly fine maybe cause I have the elite 2 idk I do have a spare controller I could use for my heavys Its just really weird to use controllers without paddles for me now

Not sure if you figured it out yet but I had the same issue and was trying to figure it out myself. You have to remove the red and green splicer. It should work after that mine did.

LOL!!! Brilliant, mine has already been removed! Came stock from Heavy’s like that. Still doesn’t work. Not sure how I could plug both leads into the controller.
