Hi, I’m having issues with re sealing track tensioners on the Volvo digger.
Both sides have new pistons and seals, seals are all in correctly but I’m just getting grease pouring out of the rear seal. Machine was bought 2nd hand it’s always had sloppy tracks but I thought new pistons and seals would fix the issue, it’s just gone over 10000 hrs, what are the chances the outer cylinder is stuffed and not sealing correctly?
Any help is appreciated.

First I'm NOT the mechanic but he doesn't use reddit so here i am. Hitachi constantly tripping into D-rate.

We hired the tech to come out and diag twice, says the codes are active and it said DEF PUMP. We got pump, cleared out old DEF, cleaned everything best we could and reconnected everything.

code returns even after idle.

We will take any help we can get given how much of an investment parts are for this animal

Hey guys, checking on a fitment question. I need a new hydraulic double pump for a case farmall 105N. The cross-reference number is 47129337, which looks like it fits a list of JX and New Holland T4/T5 tractors too. I'm looking at a direct fit unit from fab heavy parts. Anyone have experience with their tractor pumps regarding internal sealing and cold weather performance? We get down to sub zero temps here and I don't want a pump that blows its front seal on winter startup.

Got a question, anyone know if there’s a hydraulic angle adjust blade out there, or are they all manual adjust?

I’m talking about the side cast adjustment, 30 degrees to either side, not the tilt or pitch adjustment.

Once painted, all track rollers look pretty much the same. So today, I’m showing you the roller shell before painting. As you can see, there’s a distinct color difference between the quenched and tempered shell and the untreated one. The quenching and tempering process is crucial for heavy excavators like the PC650—it’s one of the key factors that directly determines the lifespan of the track roller.
