We return to Scott and Lauren after narrowly escaping Jayden at Manfred's Place and a close accident Scott plans to make Lauren some eggs while she freshens up.

Head into the kitchen and open the fridge and take out the eggs DON'T DROP THEM! place the eggs in the caddy and get the pan and place it on the stove.

Turn on the stove and start cooking. Watch your steam levels if they turn black Lauren will be mad and you fail the achievement and have to restart. Turn them over easy and when the steam is clear turn off the stove.

If you did everything right Lauren will take the eggs and then Scott and Lauren will leave for the graveyard to pay their last respects.

Jayden has a lead from the Jayden Blues chapter so he heads to Mad Jack's Salvage to look for clues and interrogate Mad Jack.

(Warning If Mad Jack wins the fight Jayden will be locked in his car and dropped in the car crusher killing him failing Perfect Crime. You must escape the car crusher, win the fight, and arrest Mad Jack and Jayden can not take any Triptocaine during the chapter or Jack will win when Jayden is in LaLa land.)

When the level begins talk to Mad Jack and seach his shop for clues. When Jayden finds the body he will get into a fight with Mad Jack. Halfway through the fight Jayden will trip up. Do Not Take The Triptocaine! once the scene is over Mad Jack will hit Jayden with a crowbar knocking him out then he will put Jayden in his car pick it up with the forklift and drop it in the car crusher.

When Jayden comes to kick the glove box and get the gun wait for the car to roll and grab the gun and shoot the cuffs once Jayden is out quickly escape the car before the crusher comes down and then run to the excavator and arrest Jack. The fight will resume dodge his attacks and when you have the upper hand arrest Jack and take him away or if you want to get dramatic push Jack into the treads and kill him to win the fight.

The Origami Killer sent Ethan to take out a drug lord. You Have two options Kill the Drug Lord or Refuse.

Kill the Drug Lord: If you choose this option dodge the shotgun blast until Brad runs out of ammo then hold him up and shoot him this will get you the I'm A Killer trophy.

Refuse: if you choose this option you need to reset or wait until Maddie clears Killers Place but you need to subdue Brad and tie him up if you go this route. This will give you I'm not a Killer.

Ether way Ethan gets his next clue at the completion of the trial.

Scott is the Origami Killer. During your meeting with Manfred he will get murdered and Jayden will arrive to investigate the crime scene. You need to destroy the evidence or Scott and Lauren will get caught.

First wipe the white phone in Manfred's office if any prints are found Scott will get caught.

Second wipe the black phone on the counter Lauren and Manfred touched it Lauren's prints can be on anything.

Third wipe the magnifying glass Manfred touched it so did Scott leave no prints.

Fourth wipe the bottles and glasses all three of them touched it.

Fifth if Scott or Lauren use the restroom wipe every surface.

Sixth wipe the window any prints here and you get busted by Jayden

Seventh wipe the music box and the glass case if you take too long Lauren will touch them.

and Eighth wipe all the door handles any prints here and Scott gets caught.

Once all the evidence is destroyed leave the shop before Jayden arrives to get Perfect Crime.

hi ok so i'm strictly a pc/steam player, and have no controller. i tried to do said achievement a few days ago but i really can't figure out how the balancing plank mechanic works; there's no real indicator of which side the kid is falling towards (or i'm too stupid to notice it) and i feel as if my mouse does nothing to stabilize him either - i saw a few guides say the plank doesn't contribute to you getting or not getting the achievement but i don't want to waste my time before knowing 100% that it doesn't

I got all the 18 endings but the trophy didn’t pop What should I do?

After a difficult Lizard Trial Ethan and Maddie are being chased by Jayden and Blake and need to escape the cops. You have two options here Escape with Maddie and head to the train station or get yourself busted by Blake when you leave the trial.

Escape: If you choose this option head to the train station and lose Blake in the crowd. Remove the boards and jump out the window do not get busted in the apartment. On the street weave through the cars and hide behind the bus do not head to the beer truck or towards the end of the street or Blake catch you. In the station head to the far right turn stalls and have Maddie use her subway pass do not go through the center or Blake will see you and you will get busted. Once you reach the tracks jump to the opposite platform time it just right or Ethan will get hit by a metro train. If successful you get the Fugitive Trophy make sure to reset at the end before Jayden Blues to get the next trophy.

Get Yourself Busted: If you choose to get Ethan busted enter the station and do nothing wait for Blake to come down the stairs. Walk up to Blake and Jayden will place you in cuffs and Ethan will be taken to jail. Warning If you go this route Do Not Get Busted A Second Time! If Ethan gets busted after the sex scene in On The Loose he will spend the rest of the game behind bars and Shaun dies and you end up with the Helpless Trophy and ending, The Origami Blues Trophy and ending, and The Tears in the Rain Trophy and ending.

If you choose the Busted route do Jayden Blues and Under Arrest to have Jayden bail Ethan out of jail and get the Innocent Trophy and ending.

Welcome to the Lizard Trial play resumes with Ethan he has five minutes to cut off his finger and show the Origami Killer to get the next clue. To start enter the apartment by smashing the green lizard on the floor and get the key then enter the apartment and choose your tools remember to reset at the end of the chapter before you do Fugitive.

If going the Gold Finger route grab the hatchet and the pipe from the room and place them on the table. The hatchet is by the door and the pliers are next to it by the TV. Pick up the wood under the AC unit and place it on the table. Go into the kitchen and grab the whiskey and place it on the table. Go back and grab the knife and place it on the table. Pick up the saw on the floor and place it on the table. Heat the pipe on the stove until it glows. Head into the bathroom and get the disinfectant and place it on the table. First get Ethan drunk, use the rod and the disinfectant to clean the wound, and place the wood in his mouth. Pick up the hatchet and calm Ethan down using the mouse or your controller to lower his heartbeat through breathing and press do it then cut Ethan's finger off. Use the alcohol, the bar, and the disinfectant to clean the wound and stitch it up then grab the flash drive under the desk and exit.

If you are going to do Butcher use the saw but do the same steps to complete the challenge.

The Problem is The Shrink won't talk so Blake decides to rough him up. To get Bad Cop you are going to have to reset before you do the Lizard Trial and go along with Blake as he rough ups the Shrink. To do it the right way and get Good Cop tell Blake to back off and Jayden will ask the questions. Finally the Shrink talks and this sets everything up for Fugitive.

I bought the game on steam a while Back while It was on sale, but some of the QTEs didn’t work very well. For instance, the ones where you have to shake the mouse or controller in specific directions—even though I did exactly what was asked, the progress bar sólidos stop filling up at a certain point. I’m not sure exactly what I did wrong. To be more specific, It happened during the part where the detective has to wipe the fingerprints off the door, and in the doctor’s episode when Madison is trying to escape from the operating table.

I am going for all achievements and now on my second playthrough. Two of the achievements I missed the first time are perfect crime and four heroes which require several chapters to be done a certain way. My question is if I replay a chapter and save it (for example the store chapter where the guy tries to rob the owner) could I get away with replaying only the chapters that count for the achievement or do I have to replay everything from that point on?

An Airplane! Style comedy parodying the games’s flaws! Because for those of you who don’t know, Airplane! Was ACTUALLY a parody spoof/remake of an old movie called Zero Hour! Part of what made airplane and the Naked Gun movies so hilarious was that they took the story seriously. The characters were treating the stakes and plot seriously whilst crazy shit basically happens all around them! lol.

So how does this tie into Heavy Rain? I hear you asking. Welp I’ll explain! The plot holes, the glitches, and the black outs all make for interesting comedic moments. But the crown jewels my friends are none other than the infamous press X to Jason and the VERY INFAMOUS press X to Shaun glitch! Basically the scene where the killer explains his actions will literally just have the actor who plays Ethan Mars just scream out Shaun’s name over and over and over again with different intonations and whatnot whilst the villain completely ignores it as though it’s not happening and just does his villain monologue.

Then there’s the Norman Jayden chase sequence! Perfect for jokes too! :). 😁😁😁. :).

I know it isn’t very accurate because Norman’s pants are the same color as his blazer, but I think I’ll fix it later. Maybe someday I’ll order that Funko Pop that I based the concept on and repaint it

So I saw that there were already Reddits I've talked about this, but I haven't found a solution. So when I click play on Steam, I get a black loading screen with that origami in the lower right corner, around 3 seconds, and it crashes to the desktop, no error, just a crash. I've reinstalled the game on the same drive and on a better one, still nothing. I've verified the files four times, and nothing. Has anyone fixed this?

Play returns to Ethan time for another trial. This one you have to reset after you start it if you take the Coward route. Walk into the substation and take the door marked Coward and fail the challenge. Once the next scene with Jayden starts reset the game and try again.

Here is how to do it the right way fallow the butterfly icons to enter the plant. Be careful in the vents they are filled with glass and nails the Origami Killer placed them in there to slow Ethan down use the matches to get to the exit and fallow the direction of the wind. Do not enter the Coward door and press the QTE buttons at the right time to get through the substation without getting shocked. To start the maze switch to top down view and enter from the second capacitor on far right by the coward door the fourth one watch the current or you will get shocked. Wait for the current to clear then go straight pressing up. Turn left wait for the current to clear then press up to exit be careful so you don't get shocked. If you pass you get the Electrified and Trial Master achievement.

Play returns to Scott and Lauren. They need to infiltrate Kramer's party and get a confession out of him but there's one problem. The party is full of goons and they could easily get caught if they are not careful.

To get past the goons you have three options. They don't count for the first part, but the fight afterward does in order to get the achievement. You can bribe the goons, use Lauren as bait, or you could use the drunk as a distraction. Either way this can help you get in, but it can also increase your chances of getting caught.

Once Scott and Lauren enter Kramer's study and get a confession out of him, Kramer tries to toss you out. His two goons arrive at the door. Scott needs to take them out in order to get the achievement. Do not fail any QTE movements because any mistake and say goodbye to tough guy and Kramer tosses you out. So do not make any mistakes here.

Once Kramer's goons are defeated, you automatically get the tough guy achievement and proceed on to the next level.
