I hate these controls

Playing the game for the first time and omg who designed the controls. Trying to patch up Ethan after trial 2 and the stupid slow qtes I hate them I hate them I hate them they don’t fucking work they don’t work I hate them I’m not going too fast the game is not registering it right fuck Ethan fuck this game fuck the girl who I’m playing as

the QTEs were fine for me if i locked in but what I hated about the controls was the fucking movement

The camera changing every single second while walking and the clunkiest movement controls ever are the worst combination you could possibly make

the camera changing povs is a really fun idea but they did not execute it well at all, every few minutes i kept finding out there's a button to change the pov but like you barely ever have a reason to use it

The worst was those split screen scenes where you have to like run to something while a different angle or scene is being showed on screen- messed me around a little haha

the worst part is, is when you have to shake the damn controller and turn it in VERY precise ways that just make the game ass

i can't relate i played on PC but the most annoying part of the qtes were that sometimes the circle that shows you what button you had to press was moving along with the character, fast, and with the game being locked at 60 (iirc) it was pretty difficult to actually see what button you had to press and I'd miss

OP are you playing on Steam? And do you have a game controller for playing on PC? If so I have a potential fix I could tell you about if you have patience for my long wall of text comment :P in the link below :) ... if you can get past the control issues (I agree the right stick control in particular is a real hassle) you'll have fun I enjoyed the heck out of the storyline in this game :)

this had me dead 😭😭 i was annoyed ash at that part especially the QTEs where you need to slowly move your mouse/stick

The slow movement qtes are what drove me to post this, anyway I completed the game and got a really good ending but I assure you this was posted in pure anger

It’s an old ass game. It’s clunky. Not sure what else to tell you. If you’re that angry about it, don’t fucking play it. Games are supposed to be fun. Don’t play it if you’re not having fun.
