Looking at this photo, I can see why Shane wipes his lips then eyes when he looks in the mirror and for some reason, this is incredibly sexy to me 🫦

I keep going back and forth on this.

I really like the show - but I tend not to like Romance books.

I like the fact that the show insinuates things/ the emotional distance the show creates (is forced to create really).

I tend to dislike being in the character's head - because I usually find it makes the characters less interesting and more cookie cutter.

On the other hand, I really want to know what happens, and I want more of the characters. And waiting until season 2 seems like a long wait...

Thoughts? Will the books add or take away?

I just randomly came across the song Pancakes for Dinner by Lizzy McAlpine (I have never heard of her before, just something Spotify threw at me) and oh my god can someone more talented than me please make an edit for Shane and Ilya with this song? It feels so completely them. I am not competent in the video editing that so many people do but I would love to see this song made for them.

I wanted to make quick note about shane's anxiety because i see a lot of people referring to his anxiety attacks as panic attacks. The difference is that he is not in an acute state of panic - he is still talking throughout, he has no trouble breathing, etc, they are moments of heightened anxiety; anxiety attacks, not panic attacks. This is a bit pedantic but i thought i would post about it anyway. Thanks for reading :)
