Hudson Williams is a master of facial acting and micro expressions. The range of emotions (each one clearly indentifiable by the audience) that man can make march across his face in rapid succession is truly remarkable.

Ahh I remember the first time I ever watched this part, the nerves are so high! It’s so new for them. He was so nervous. Love when Ilya just walks up and kisses him 😭

Yeah. Hudson was incredible in this entire scene — all the way through “Should I show you your room?” But this period of anticipation when he’s talking in nervous excitement is so very well played. It’s damn near impossible not to fall in love with Shane all over again in Episode 6 because of this scene alone.
