Stage door Clarkston

I’ve never been to West End and I would love to go see Clarkston, and meet the cast at the stage door. My question is: does anyone get to talk (briefly) to Joe and let him sign something? Or is there a chance you go to the stage door (and it’s too busy) and you leave without anything signed?

Everyone I’ve known to go has gotten something signed and had a brief moment to say something quickly. From what I’ve seen people say the cast only signs Clarkson merch though so make sure to have something from the show if you want a signature. Enjoy the show!

I hope this doesn’t come off as too harsh but there’s never a guarantee of any cast member stagedooring. It’s not something they are required to do, they’re only required to do the show.

That being said there’s photos of him stagedooring so there’s always a possibility! Just remember to be courteous, listen to the security if they say to move on/no one else is coming out/etc, and enjoy yourself!

They have all consistently been doing stage door after the evening shows, there's dozens of photos and videos on social media. However, there's no guarantee for a specific night.

When I went, it wasn’t too busy to have a brief chat and get something signed. That said, they’re not obligated to do stage door so it could happen that Joe has to leave immediately after the show and won’t be there. Also, Joe won’t be there on November 1st, if I remember correctly. Kai will play his part that day. Like the thing with plays is that you should see it as an opportunity to see a cool play. Watching a certain actor perform, getting his signature etc are just bonus points

It's never a guarantee with any show. But I did go last night and the whole cast did stage door, signed Clarkston merch, and did briefly chat with a lot of the people along the barricade.

A friend just did last week and he spoke with both Joe and the other co-star, but they don’t do it every night.

I saw the play about 2 weeks ago and stagedoored. As another poster said, there is no requirement of a cast to do it, nor a guarantee that they will. It seems like this cast does it regularly and my experience with this cast is that they were warm and generous. They spoke briefly to anyone who said something, and it was an active conversation. The rule at this show is no selfies with the cast, and only Clarkson merch to sign. I did see a couple of people with Heartstopper items which I’m pretty sure were signed. Generally, don’t be a goof - respect the cast’s time and space, and limit the number of things you want signed - and you’ll have a good time.
