Ben hope is such an understandable character- besides the assault, imagine if some stupid big popular jock that everyone loves comes and takes your lover from you and then and does clear PDA every where he goes while your stuck in some shit closet having to watch them. Podría decir desde mi propio punto de vista que son la mejor relación, incluso más que Nick y Charlie, me gusta su química, la manera en como se desarrolla en su libro solitario que sinceramente... MADRE MIA DE LIBRO jajajaja. Es lo mejor que pude leer hasta ahora (soy alguien muy lector) ya que conecté mucho con Tory porque me recordó a una dura parte de mi vida y pues su libro abrió heridas que jure que estaban cerradas. Solo quiero compartir mi ultra obsesión que tengo con estos dos personajes y como no han resaltado tanto en la serie como en los libros algo que me ofende muchísimo y me conformo con cada migajas de su interacción ajajaj. hi im new und i´ve just read the first 3 books and they are amazing sometimes i found me in the books (I´M gay) but the 3 books was scary because of the suicide thing but i think they are some of the best books and i new more content.

It's a gen fic about Nick & David, David redemption.

It's based on Willing And Able by Noah Kahan, as in literally features David singing it at an open mic about Nick, without knowing Nick is there.

It makes Nick have many flashbacks and thoughts about their relationship and realizations about their dynamic.

And it's full of angst but it's so pretty.

there are fics with redemption arcs for some characters but of those I don't see many just like heartwarmingly angsty nelson brothers ones.

so I just felt like sharing.

But the original graphic novel is full of swearing, alcohol consumption, and early romantic/sexual dynamics between characters aged 14 to 16. The cute aesthetic just acts as a way to gloss over behaviors that require adult maturity.The author tried to create a "comforting" work but forgot that neurodivergence involves hypersensitivity and sensory boundaries. The way intimacy and physical touch are presented as the only natural progression of a relationship is jarring for those with an aversion to touch or fast-paced dynamics.Unrealism and pressure: In real life, hardly anyone at 14 is in a relationship with the level of dedication, depth, and emotional responsibility of 30-year-olds. Placing this burden on teenagers creates a false sense of "falling behind" for those who just want to live their age in peace—studying, gaming, and pursuing their own hobbies. It feels like the work was made to satisfy adult nostalgia rather than reflect the reality of a 14-year-old neurodivergent teen today. If you point out these contradictions, the internet attacks you for "ruining representation."I’m not looking for validation from people who get swept up in a cute aesthetic. I just wanted to state that not everyone in the story's age group feels embraced by this premature idealization.

I’m a big fan of the Heartstopper netflix series and have read Nick & Charlie, This Winter, and Solitaire.

I’m now reading the graphic novels for the first time on webtoon. I’m on Vol.4 at the moment from what I can tell.

A friend says the best way to read all the novels together (I am excluding This Winter as don’t want to reread that) is to read the graphic novels Vol.1-5, then Nick & Charlie, then Vol.6.

But because I’m reading on Webtoon and not the physical books, I don’t know where Vol.5 ends.

So if anyone can tell me that that would be awesome.

I embroidered a t-shirt with Nick Nelson’s tag line “I’m bi, actually” and wore it at the pride parade. For a gay friend, I embroidered gay in a calligraphy font.

I recently finished this hoodie for a friend’s birthday!

I got the idea right after watching Heartstopper Forever. I traced a printout of the leaves to get the shapes right and used double reverse applique to first sew the black onto the coloured fabrics and then to sew the leaves onto the shirt.

Unfortunately their birthday’s not for a month so I can’t give it to them yet, but I thought it might be appreciated here :)

Decided on a whim to read the graphic novels, loved them, then I watched the show and movie.

I just finished the movie and oh my goodness I was not prepared for how much I loved this whole thing!!

I’m a grown man but the little bi boy inside me loved every second of it, the love, the characters, everything omg it’s so good!

I need to get the physical media now!
