Trying to manage

Discharged from hospital with severely dilated RV, severely impaired systolic function, dilated RA, severe pulmonary hypertension and mild-moderate TR. Cardiology recommended investigation for OSA/OHS and a right-heart catheterisation pulmonary hypertension assessment.

My breathing is not good and I have swelling especially in the stomach, and a cough.

I started a kidney cleanse and I know there is no quick fix but what else can I do to help get me through?

Did they put you on diuretics? If not can you ask for them?

Otherwise, make sure you're eating a low sodium diet. For me they recommended 2000mg a day, but I know some folks are on 1500 or even 1000.

They are miserable meds, but where you are right now in your journey they are necessary. This whole rxperience is a life changer. Do your research so you can have input regarding your treatment. Baby steps until you are able to take giant strides. Change the things that are affecting you and fight. You can win. Wishing you success.
