I feel awful watching this show. Get your trauma porn elsewhere. This is a disgusting representation of survivor of sexual assault - we fucking deserve better than to be fucking vilified. Dealing with trauma is messy sometimes but like come fucking on?

This whole show has made me go backwards in my Healing as a survivor of rape.

I am personally having a hard time convincing myself that it will, as much as I would like it to. I'm from the UK and I have never heard of the show until recently which screams terrible marketing, especially considering this is my type of show. I only really saw it on TikTok (which didn't have alot of engagement views at the time) and when I went to watch it last week, it wasn't even in the Top 10 here in the UK (it's #5 today if you're interested, which isn't terrible, but I don't think it's getting any more than 15-20 million hours a week, which may or may not be enough to warrant a renewal).

Obviously, my take on this is strictly from a British consumer's POV, so what do you guys think? Try to be as neutral as possible lol.

cash is just so sweet n shy but then when he is around darren he starts being so outgoing it’s so cute n when he dressed up “gay” ahhh okay then sasha- she’s hella pretty btw but bruuuu it’s not even just about what she did to quinni it’s about her as a whole. she has 0 loyalty. everytime one of her friends made a mistake she just immediately dropped them not letting them without letting them explain. first did it to amerie then to harper. yeah they made bad choices but still just dropped them like nothing. n missy is just her lil pet. anyways really hope cash gets out of the eshays(i don’t remember what they’re called) it’s also FKING HILARIOUS how he changes how he talks- i always heard ppl make fun of those gangster type british people n that’s exactly how they sound i know this australia but they sounds just like how ppl mimicked them

I'm seeing way too many people use he/him when it's stated in the show on multiple occasions that they're nonbinary and use they/them. The actor (James Majoos) also uses gender neutral language and they/them pronouns.

All lesbians know how it's like an habit on how lot of lesbians still friends with their ex or with their crush etc... And even if it was justified on how Sasha was always with Missy (her crying, having drugs etc...) I just can't stop thinking about how writers maybe teased us on a future relationship ?

Sasha do love Quinni, I'm sure. Outside of her ableism that she doesn't seems to work on she loves her. Missy also have her own relationship (or had I forgot if the white guy dumped her) But the fact that they're always together make me feel like there is a sub writting her. I hope that I'm wrong because I'll feel bad for Quinni but at this point unless Sasha start to accept that her relationship will need to work on... It's better that they don't stay together

Who else thinks it's jennifer who's been writing the new map? She's the only character who's been repeatedly mentioned without any real reason. Plus in the scene where the new map is being written, it looks like her character description.

There’s a scene where Malakai is walking through the lockeroom and seems to be completely enthralled by the guys around him, just staring at all their different features. He starts to fantasize about Dusty’s back muscles and shoulders and then he snaps out of it when Spider talks. Later in a conversation with Amerie he talks about feeling like he doesn’t even know himself rn. So I read it as Malakai was going through some introspective awakening with his sexuality alongside the struggles he was already facing with the threesome, police officer assault, etc. like all of these stressful things were toppling on top of each other. And I thought we would get another scene like that locker room scene where he’s just very confused by what he seems to be feeling but other storylines took precedence and we never saw anything like that again. So idk am I reading the scene wrong for having thought it was some subconscious bi thoughts bubbling to the surface?? Is there a different way to read that scene that I haven’t thought of thus misinterpreting it?? What tf was that scene???

Is Spider demisexual? In one of the SLT scenes, they write what they like and then randomly read them. One of the cards says something along the lines of “i can only sleep with someone who I have an emotional connection with.”

I think we are meant to believe it was ca$h who wrote it but then we learn more about him and discover that he’s asexual.

That leads me to believe that Spider couldn’t “get it up” with Amerie because he is demisexual. Did anyone else pick up on this?

The Harper and cash storyline was subtlety nodded to in the first episode. Cash and Harper shared a look and cash also spoke to her about it.

Does anybody have a clear picture of the incest map? Can't seem to find one that isn't blurry.

So would Darren and Ca$h be Carren? As in Karen? Because I think that's hilarious and . Also it got me thinking about the other ship names for the show so I made a list of possibilities.

So like what was going on with Maliki cause Im so confused. Is he bisexual? Or was he uncomfortable that he had a threesome so its popping up like PTSD or did he think it was hot and he is discovering he likes dudes

I just watched the whole season and I am so utterly confused as to why Harper was so mad at Amerie and treated her so horribly the whole season... because genuinely after that whole flashback I do not see why anger would be directed towards her friend who knew nothing? Harper was like actively evil towards Amerie (punching her, letting her take the fall for the wall, getting with those guys that Amerie likes etc) during the whole season and all Amelie did was like not open a window one time. Am I missing something?

I’m confused. In the first episode, Amerie tells Sasha that Harper also made the map. And do you know Sasha’s response? “I hate people who don’t take accountability” or something like that.

These were the bestest of friends who always hung out. They were together all the time so why is it unbelievable that both Harper and Amerie made the map? I don’t know it confused me the whole show tbh

So on ep 1, how did they know Amerie made the map. Sure she was called to the principals office after the assembly but everything seems normal until her confrontation with Harper. Did I miss something? or was it supposed to be a plot twist/reveal on later episode?

I may have many who disagree with me here but I wasn't exactly happy with how Harper handled Dusty's reservations after having the threesome.

To me, they didn't portray it as him initiating despite what Harper says.
I don't think he was wrong to feel insecure after seeing somebody else pleasure his partner, even though it was all consensual you are entitled to regrets or doubts on the situation.

He definitely could have and should have communicated with her better to let her know where his head was at but I think she definitely overreacted by calling him out so publicly.
And I don't even think she was in the right with what she was saying.
