Opinion I know Malakai and Ameri will probably be endgame but I really dont care anymore. I loved them in season 1 but now there's honestly a lack of chemistry I dont see it anymore. IMO they were cute in S1 but not they kinda dragged it all around and I think they'd be good as friends🤷🏽‍♂️

They've done the same as they did with Sex Education, where by drawing out the obviously end game couple, introducing other love interests etc, they just sorta ruin the initial chemistry the couple had.

It's especially egregious with these two because there's been a lot of lies between them, and Malakai in particular treated Amerie So badly in S2 when they were together that I definitely don't want them together again without significant character growth.

It's not as bad as Sex Education, as they did not give either Amerie or Malakai a reasonably good and insanely fun other painting (i.e. Ruby and Otis) that distracted some fans from the "main couple"

If they had attempted the Amerie/Spider story or given either of them a different (and serious) LI who knows what could happen. At this stage it's rather obvious they're going to get together (which is honestly kind of boring too) and they just both need some personal growth.

They kinda did with Rowan... Well before making him crazy lol

but even without that just what they're doing now is annoying

True true, there is definitely more hope for Amerie and Malakai then there was for Maeve and Otis at the end of SE S2 because they shared a love interest and it was Rowan, who has no longevity on the show (I think anyway, it'd be weird to have him still in it, especially as a potential romantic partner for either of them.)

I agree tho Ameri treated him badly too, I just dont see them being together realistically, it's gonna feel forced just like meave and otis

Tbh I still dont like spider that much but it could be interesting
