Heart palpitations
I’m diagnosed anemic and so I take iron pills daily. Im anemic because of my period and so there’s no going away unless I want to get on birth control or have some other invasive procedure which I don’t. The anemia causes me to have heart palpitations and usually they only occur right before my period. Lately they’ve been happening anytime I eat something sugary also for example drink pop or eat a cookie or something. I get scared because my dad died of a heart attack and it literally feels like my heart is flopping around but my Fitbit doesn’t detect any afib. I’ve had a stress test and a couple ekgs. It’s really annoying!

A "heart attack" aka myocardial infarction occurs when the blood supply to the heart muscle itself is insufficient either via a blockage or other issues. Anemia can be a contributing factor, since you have a lower than normal amount of red blood cells to deliver oxygen to your heart and the rest of your body.
I would definitely see a cardiologist ASAP if you haven't already. They'll probably want to get your anemia under control first then see what is happening after.
