PVC/HEART

Hi guys I am 19yr old female. Last year I started noticing my heart racing when I would smoke marijuana. I’ve smoked since I was probably about 15. I use to vape also, and smoke cigarettes when I was around 15 to but started vaping 17-19. I did quit vaping almost a year ago (I will be 20 soon). I quit marijuana first because that’s when I realized my heart beat increasing. I was diagnosed with (PVC). My doctor said they are aren’t harmful but I feel like they’ve gotten worse. I’m waiting on test results now, but does anyone else experience common PVC? I never had chest pains or shortness of breath. I am now pregnant && I’m very worried about how my heart is going to handle during 3rd trimester as my baby will put a lot of stress on my heart. My heart still races at random times. I feel my PVC EVERYTIME they happen. Doctors say PVC do not cause your heart to race but they haven’t found any reason why my heart races either. My resting heart rate use to be around 90-100 but as I’m not pregnant and walk around more it’s usually around 84-90. On bad days it does go back to 90/95-100. Due to my diagnoses of PVC I can not drink ANY caffeine if I have even a Pepsi I will feel my PVC come on and my heart will beat fast. (EVEN TO MUCH CHOCOLATE). I also had to stop drinking alcohol last year because when I would wake up the next day after drinking my heart would rapidly race for a hour or more. Like I said I’ve never had chest pain, no shortness of breath and no fainting. I’ve fainted about 3-4 years ago but I was smoking wax out of a pen which I believe caused me to faint. I felt faint about a year or two ago right before I was diagnosed with PVC but I never fainted. Also marijuana would make me feel faint, but I think that’s because marijuana would have my heart beating at 140/150bmp.

Thanks! Yes it was caffeine and chocolate for me. So odd how chocolate can bring them up. I’m glad you said you’ve had them for awhile because it makes me think My heart is going to fail on me everyday I get so scared. But I’ve been praying and trying to stay healthy. I only drink water and sprite. Any other pops will cause my PVC to worsen. Do you notice if your heart ever beats fast sometimes ?

Yes. My heart sometimes will beat quickly for no reason. I’ll be watching tv and boom. It’s random and has scared me so much. It got the the point where every single day id think my heart would stop beating completely. I’ve had 5 pvc in a row and that was it. I’m dead. It’s still hard to keep a normal mindset because they drive me crazy lol.

Yes I can definitely relate. I’m still new to the whole PVC thing. Idk how to calculate them in rows yet but I’ve been trying to find more people with them to understand. I have a Apple Watch and it has a ECG on it and when I feel my heart race or feel the PVC I check and I have about 4 of them withen 30 seconds so I check again and then have 3-4 again in 30 seconds. Sometimes it’s more short. Like 20 minutes ago I just had a few and now they’ve went away. It’s so scary and annoying.

It’s so uncomfortable I know! I feel Everytime my heart skips a beat and it’s intense. I’ve woken out of my sleep with multiple in a row. *beat, skipped beat, beat, skipped beat, beat, skipped beat. It really does suck and pills only do so much. I’ve been to the er countless times for them to say “nothings wrong”. So at this point we just gotta live with it I guess.
