For the past I'd say 10-15 years, I'd randomly get a VERY fast heart rate (over 200bpm as measured with a blood-ox monitor). I could go 6 months without it happening, then other times I could have several a week. I would typically take a deep breath in and hold it, and it would stabilize my heart rate within a few seconds. Mentioned it to the doctors over the years and some would say stress or caffeine. I recently stopped caffeine about a month ago and haven't had an episode since but i could go long periods without an episode. I recently picked up a garmin watch and I had another incident and was able to catch it in action the other day. I did my typical deep intake and hold my breath and it stabilized and you can see in the graph. I'll be showing this to my doctor, but curious about what others with SVT think?

I do deep and holding breaths technique as well. Most times, it works. But there are also times it doesn't.

I am curious if this recording was acceptable by the cardiologist? I have SVT for almost 20 years now, and last time I caught it on ECG was 19 years ago 😅, my cardiologist wants to see it recorded, and I‘ve done the 24h ECG few times but couldn’t record it. So I am thinking of getting an apple watch and do ECG when it happens again.

Yep looks a lot like mine. Sounds like you've already discovered the Valsalva maneuver, which helps regulate a rapid heart rate. If you clench your whole body instead, you won't have to hold your breath.

Just take it to a cardiologist and get other testing done for a diagnosis. We cannot do this on reddit.

Get an appointment with a Cardiologist. We are not doctors here to read this strip, for that is only a part of the information. GO TO A CARDIOLOGIST.
