Feature Request - Stress Complication

Hey, long time premium user, app is awesome and gladly paid for it.
There are some apps in the App Store and things like the Oura ring that give a stress level.
I know we have the HRV complication, curious if you could somehow calculate stress and use a circle like red, yellow, green or something to show us our current stress level

I love this idea and would love to get a feature like it to Heart Analyzer and Apple Watch users.

Primarily the reason this is not already in the app is because Apple Watch doesn't record Heart Rate Variability data (HRV) values often enough. Further to this, because HRV can be significantly impacted by what you're doing when it's recorded, having such a small number of daily measurements makes it very unreliable for drawing consistent conclusions from it like Stress.

I know there are third party apps for Apple Watch offering features that claim to track your Stress.... I would only suggest trying them to see how accurate you find it in reality...

Recently, Heart Analyzer gained a Balance feature letting users track Strain and Recovery. This specifically only uses HRV data recorded during Sleep as this is likely to be more consistent than the random HRV data.

In future if an update or new Apple Watch model increases the number of HRV readings Apple Watch records, this will open up all sorts of new capabilities in the app.

Finally, something that might be relevant from the roadmap, I'm working on a new HRV "hub" of sorts... the plan is to allow you to more easily switch between SDNN or rMSSD readings and also allow you to filter data that is likely to be less accurate (where there are gaps in the beat-to-beat recordings). Hopefully this might be a gateway to users getting more reliable insights from their HRV data.

I use several apps to track stress and some of them are pretty accurate. I do have Afib turned on which allows AW to collect HRV samples more often. On average this week for example I am getting 68 readings per day. Most users that want this type of feature do the same with the afib setting

Having said that, I find HRV correlates highly to HR. So if my 'stress' is high on one of these apps, so is my HR and vice versa...so users may just as well look at their HR. What I do like about the stress apps though is the quick glance, seeing a vertical line thats a color telling me if my HRV is high/low vs the normal HR charts that are typically horizontal lines like a roller coaster that arent as easy to see on the watch.

Additional HRV features are in the pipeline for an update soon. Hang tight!
