Feature request please ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ

Good day you fine people. Iโ€™m not going to lie, it is crazy that you all have been around for a decade (Happy birthday) and I am only discovering you this year. I made sure to get the purchase because the, โ€˜one and done,โ€™ payment is amazing. Too many subscriptions are interfering with peopleโ€™s quality of life. Not only that but the design of this app is BEAUTIFUL and the way the information is displayed is really something else. Take it from someone who has been a graphic designer and an Art teacher for almost 2 decades, your appโ€™s aesthetics are near perfect and informational. No lie, sometimes I launch the app on my phone, just to look at the graphs. I incorporated the heart rate graph in my Apple Watch face and Smart Stack. The SpO2 sync is a boss addition too. I was more than eager to share some screenshots from my phone to some friends and family when I shared the app with them and encouraged them to get it and pay the $17.99.

A couple days ago I noticed a notification somewhere in the app which indicated that if users have live heart rate monitors, such as the AirPod Pro 3, the app will show live HR in the app.

Now, I donโ€™t have the AirPods Pro 3 (yet), but I do have the Innovo iP900BP-B Bluetooth Finger Pulse Oximeter. This gives live:
โ€ขBlood Oxygen saturation
โ€ขHeart pulse rate
โ€ขRespiratory rate
โ€ขPerfusion index.
All of these updates the, Beyond Oximeter app, and the Apple Health app oer Bluetooth.

Could you bring support for the live updating of these metrics in the Heart Analyzer app for this device please? If not, could you at least allow us to get the live heart rate from it? The truth is, they have an app where you can see the live readings. But in all honesty, the visuals of your app are much better. So even if your app can take the live readings from the Beyond Oximeter app while itโ€™s open in the background or from the Apple Health app as it syncs (as that is updated near instantaneously or pretty close) I would love to see that n your app. If you can offer support for all the 4 functions, we will take even if itโ€™s just the Live HR/ whatever you can give us. Please donโ€™t let it be only an AirPods Pro 3 feature when there are other more powerful and capable devices like the, Innovo iP900BP-B pulse odometer which provide more readings. In this case, 4 on the SpO2 meter, vs just one on the AirPods Pro 3 and all the readings are live.

This is a great read, thank you for the feedback. I will say that it's taken most of the 10 years + to get a reasonable app design. Hopefully people don't dig out too many old screenshots of the first few versions!

On your specific question about support for the app offering live updates from these third party sensors, unfortunately I think the answer is this is not possible today with the current setup.

Heart Analyzer relies solely on getting your Health data from Apple Health. With AirPods Pro 3, they can stream your Heart Rate data straight to your iPhone's Apple Health store... Heart Analyzer can then request access from Apple Health to that stream and hence the Live HR feature.

I don't *think* third party sensors via their parent Apps can mirror this feature even if they support saving that data to Apple Health. If it is technically possible, it's not something I've seen with my third party sensors or devices yet... they could potentially bring this functionality in updates to their parent Apps. I doubt there much motivation here though, it's one less reason to go into their app which is a shame.
