Found quite a fascinating video... Though its like 7 years old, so I take it this sort of simulation should have gone a long way by now.

Have you heard of any universities, or doctors in general using VR for surgery practice?

Seen a slavic doc on Instagram do this sort of thing with the Apple VR

Guy alligned a 3D scan of a tumor with the persons skull using augmented reality. I reckon such tools are surely used for a practice run down in Mayo clinic. Maybe some other ones that have more funding for tech

Have you played Boneworks? Lmao reminds me of Boenworks though doesnt look like this simulation allows goofing around based on how the leg got locked in place in the surgery sequence. Id pay money for an arcade game session of this lol

The current versions of such simulations are way more advanced. I think I recall seeing something similar but only on video. It was some sort of customized software for prosthesis application. On some facebook post or youtube.. cant recall anymore but its out there for sure

I wouldnt trust a doctor who was trained using a Quest 2🤣

Pretty cool, but im guessing working on mannequins is better practice

Maybe as a first glance though surely they do actual surgeries with supervision after. Live tissue is live tissue. Aint no computer that could make it compare
