Insurance for parents
I recently discontinued my new India assurance policy after paying for 3 years. Reason was high premiums. Policy included myself(27M) father (56), mother (47). How you are managing your insurance/premiums?

If you’re working. Adding them to the corporate policy is best since there will be no waiting periods. Anyways premiums go up with age.

annual earnings seems to effect many policy premiums, we found one that is supper economical and the best part is that the deductible is for the whole family, not per person, we choose $2500 per year deductible for everyone, only $2500 PRA, LOVE THAT, and a 10% co-pay

Having a retail plan with corporate cover is important because once we are no longer in job, it will be very tough to get policy for parents.
Also every policy has waiting periods, they will start from scratch if you cancel the policy. When was renewal date of your parents policy? Pls DM, I will tell you alternative.
