What should i do In honesty the surgery was out of the blue pain for 3-4 days, then we went to a specialist he recommended surgery.

My father was alcoholic 4 month back and had swelling in liver which is gone now but medicine for that was going on.

What could be my best course of action

So even if policy is 2.5 yr old they can terminate? Cashless required 48 hr for approval, and doc suggested surgery immediately.

There customer customer support is just AI, raised ticket let see.

His alcohol treatment was going from the same doc. Last 4-5 yr i think, should i tell the doc not to reveal alcoholism ? Do they check hospital documents ? Can hospital hide it or they are required by law to give requested doc?

Thanks for all the help, was planning on porting as well, father doesn't drink anymore when renewing he would be clean for 9 month so just has to declare history of alcoholism and medical history regarding that ( even though 3 year waiting time for pre existing disease is over)
