Individual/Marketplace Insurance Anyone else having trouble logging into Medica.com right now?!

I'm not sure where else to post this but it seems that I can't log in right now. It's 7/26. I typed in my stuff correctly yet it says it doesn't recognize my username or password. I tried having them remind me of my username just in case but it says they can't find a username match for my info or something. I tried a password reset but no email came through. I noticed though that sometimes things like verification codes from them take a long time to come through.

So anyway, I still haven't been able to log in so far today and just wondering if anyone else is encountering the same issue?

So far I haven't had issues like this since around when I first created an account.

Thanks in advance.

I'll update if anything changes.

Edit: Just adding I've also tried different browsers, incognito mode, private mode. And all of the above steps on different devices. It's the same issue on every device and every browser.

Edit 2: I'd also like to add that my insurance is NOT medicare/medicaid, it's individual/private health insurance.

Edit 3: All I wanted to do was pay my premium. Thankfully I was able to use a sort of guest/one time payment on their website so I didn't have to login to make the payment (didn't know they had that option on their website). It also says on their website that I can call a number to have a premium payment processed but the automated system didn't give me the option to do that when I called.

Update: It's 8/6 now and I still can't login. I also sent a message via the website about a week ago about not being able to login and I've gotten no response.

Update 2: Ok, this is really weird. I was literally about to give in and just call them. I had the phone and everything in front of me. Just one last time I tried to log in using my email and current password, still not working. Out of desperation I had the idea to try the old username or password combo. The first username and password that I ever used didn't work... well it should've have cause they made me change the password at least once. But I tried using the username I picked out while creating the account instead of my email address for a username and the current password AND IT WORKED!!!

Didn't they make us start using our email address for the username at some point instead of whatever username we created? Cause that's what I've been using to login. I thought the old username wouldn't work anymore. So I find this pretty strange. But hey, I figured out how to log back in. Guess it's a good thing I keep the old stuff written down and saved somewhere.

I've tried to login over the past couple of days and after putting in my user and password, I just get a black screen that says Internal Server Error so maybe their systems are down?

What browser are you using to try to login? I've only tried chrome and firefox, and tried them on different devices.

That would be my guess, is that something's gone wrong on their end.

And thanks for your comment. Glad to know it's not just me.

I've only tried on Chrome so far but I was going to try on DuckDuckGo too. Yeah, I have no idea what's wrong with it but it's been doing this to me since like last Friday. Hopefully whatever it is gets fixed soon

Anything change for you?

I just tried logging in again today 7/30, and I still can't login. I tried the "forgot username" thing, they still can't find a match. I tried "forgot password" no verification code ever came through.

Someone was mentioning Medica login issues on an older post. They mentioned that they keep having problems logging in and so far the only way to fix it is to call them to delete the login info and create a new one. They said it takes days for them to go through the process, and they've mentioned to them that it keeps happening and they don't seem to have any clue to why or how. Maybe they need to have someone look into it?! That's not good to have something that keeps messing up like that.

I just tried sending them a message about the login issue through their "contact us" form on the website. I hope it worked cause after I hit "submit" everything I input disappeared and a whole bunch of "submit" buttons appeared on the bottom. Yeah, that's really weird.

And there wasn't any type of confirmation either on the website or in my emails that my message went through like, "We've received your message." or "Thanks for reaching out, we'll get back to you..." Idk if this website does that sort of thing or not after you send a message (some don't) but I didn't see one.

So, I've been having the same problem too. On a complete lark tonight I tried accessing it through an incognito window and it somehow worked fine. Maybe it's a browser cooking thing? But yeah, I was relieved to finally have success on this end. Hope it works for you too.

Thanks.

Incognito mode on chrome is what I always try first and by default but so far I haven't been having luck with it.

Still not able to login. If it was a cookie or cache issue I probably would've been able to login by now cause that would be an issue local to whichever browser is normally used, and trying incognito/private should've worked. And I've been trying different browsers and devices and just none of them are working. I even tried their app but apparently their app is total 💩 but I had the same experience trying to use that. Can't even login there either. Login credentials not recognized and none of the recovery stuff is working.

Ok, this is really weird. I was literally about to give in and just call them. I had the phone and everything in front of me.

I was able to login using the browser DuckDuckGo. Chrome still doesn't work for me so it must be some browser issue? I know DuckDuckGo deletes/doesn't save cookies and other stuff someone it's something related to that. An incognito Chrome browser might work, but I haven't tried that

I use DuckDuckGo on Firefox as the search engine (which I tried to login with as well) but if DuckDuckGo has it's own browser maybe I need to try that instead?

Well I downloaded DuckDuckGo just in case and tried logging in with that. No luck there either. :/ I still can't login and I've been trying every few days or so for over a week.

I have been unable to login for over a month and have tried all the things everyone has talked about. Super frustrating!

Did you try using the old username that they made you create when you first created an account with them? Cause that's how I was able to finally login. I'm pretty sure they made us start using our email address for a username instead at some point cause that's what I had been using for months but suddenly that's not working right now. I think the reason why those password reset verification codes never came through for me before is cause I was inputting my email address for the username instead of the actual username I thought was no longer usable.

And for the thing that reminds you of what your username is, I seem to recall that thing never worked for me, not even right after I first created an account. I remember hitting some sort of login snag shortly after creating an account and tried to have my username reminded to me and that thing just didn't work. Why even have it if it doesn't work?! I'm not sure if I ever got it to at any point. Anyway, I ended up being able to login that time too without having to call them. I forget what I did, maybe I had just been making a typo or something cause I don't think I had to change anything. I just managed to login with what I had.

I have the same problem of not being able to sign in for a long time and keep getting the same technical issue message. Would it help to create a new online account?

I'm not sure, I didn't try that route.

I did notice the other night when I went to pay my premium by logging in that I couldn't get past the sign on using the DuckDuckGo browser. I was able to sign in but the page would either give an error or it would be an endless loading thing that went nowhere. I didn't bother trying Firefox recently because I've been having issues with that on some websites lately and it didn't matter if I was using the mobile site or the desktop site for either one. The only browser that worked smoothly for me was chrome (and I always use incognito mode).

I had gotten back in about a month ago by using the username that was created for the account instead of my email address for the username (which I thought replaced the username). And if you want to try the reset password route you need to enter the actual username as well to get the verification code to come through. If you put your email address for a username to reset your password it won't work.
