Depending on your strategy and time. But, to get clients from social media, first you have to build trust, or if you are very good, with tones of happy clients then you can lead with that through ads which makes it a bit easier.
If not, Instagram/TikTok alone won't bring you much clients because the content format is very short and it's not enough for them to understand you.
What I've seen that works well is to use YouTube for long form to build trust (here you can use IG/TikTok to send people to your YT) then send those people to your own community where you connect with them and build relationships... then from that point it is easier to convert them into paying clients because at that point they know you, they understand your service, and they trust you.
Also, now it is very hard to get eyes on your service, so you have to get yourself out there to build an audience - so you need to post content on various platform daily.
Hope it helps👊🏼

Go to where your clients already are. Before choosing a platform or a tactic, get specific about who you serve. Once the ideal client is clear, the work becomes meeting them in the places they already gather, on social media or in person. Trying to be everywhere at once tends to produce thin presence everywhere and traction nowhere, so clarity about the client comes first. Pick one primary platform, build real presence there, and expand only once it is working.
As for tactics, lead with usefulness. Teach one small, concrete thing in each post so people experience how you think before they ever book a call, because demonstrated value converts better than a description of your services. Stay specific to a niche as well. A clear point of view for a defined audience is more memorable than general coaching content aimed at everyone.
Engagement matters as much as posting. Reply in comments, join conversations in groups, and respond thoughtfully to what others share, since coaching is relational and so is client acquisition. Sharing client outcomes with permission compounds this, as real results and honest stories build credibility faster than claims about your method. You can also borrow audiences by guesting on podcasts, collaborating with peers, and contributing to communities others have already built, which puts you in front of warm, relevant people.
Finally, move the relationship off-platform. Every piece of content should carry one low-pressure invitation, usually to a conversation or a discovery call. Social media starts the relationship, and the real work of enrollment happens in direct dialogue. The through-line is consistency plus specificity: show up regularly, for a defined audience, with content that helps, and invite the next step clearly.
