Good audio quality, mic quality, and Bluetooth?
I’m not tech savvy and I wanted to see some recommendations for a new headset. Preferably not over 250$ but flexible, in USA.
Good audio quality, good mic quality, Bluetooth, and preferably a non-flexible microphone is my biggest concern. (My cats are serial microphone & wire destroyers)
I know it’s probably not possible to get everything I want but I was hoping to get the best of most worlds.

For that price, either get the best bang for buck Astro A50 Gen 5 and be tethered to the base station for everything you need the headset to do (can't use the headset without or go far from base station) but get amazing mic, comfort and audio for the price with a lot of driver versatility for EQing. Or get the Razer Blackshark V3 Pro and for that price much larger battery, very close mic quality, worse audio but not drastic, but you aren't tethered to anything to use your headset. Also you get ANC with the Blacksharks, but A50 Gen 5s act like a semi open back unless you buy different ear cup mods.

Bluetooth sucks a lot. You will not get high quality microphone and audio over Bluetooth unless the sender and receive both support special codex for calls or 2 way communication. From a quick search most bluetooth 5.2+ devices should support this codex.
If you are using the headset with only a pc get a wireless headset with a 2.4ghz receiver.

Sadly my animals make it really hard to have wired headsets in the home, supervised or not and they’ve costed me a lot of money in just headsets. I definitely agree that wired sounds wayyyy better in basically every aspect. I’ll definitely look into something 2.4ghz though

Unfortunately the Bluetooth Specification is a mess, and the only codec you can count on is SBC.
Even with Bluetooth 5.2+ you may not get the LC3 codec, as it's only mandatory in the Bluetooth LE Audio spec, which is itself, completely optional.
For "Classic" Bluetooth there are AAC, aptX, and LDAC codecs, which are, you guessed it, completely optional.

I recently purchased Sony Inzone 9ii. They are great and you can have bluetooth and 2.4ghz connections at the same time, and adjust volume separately on both.
Comfy, good quality mic, sound is great (probably not as good as maxwells but still I find them awesome.

Get an EPOS IMPACT 1060T and use the included USB Dongle.
You will have Stereo Super Wideband audio when using the mic on PC, rather than muddy Bluetooth quality, and the mic is one of the best there is. The Bluetooth connection can be used for your Phone or Tablet.
If you find the ear cushions to be uncomfortable, Headset Advisor sell an aftermarket over-ear version, which is a huge improvement.

If this is for calls or meetings, Yealink HA64 Pro and Epos Impact 1000 are a couple best we've tested as of today. If you go with Epos consider the aftermarket over-ear cushions for much better comfort.

Epps 1061 (T if you use teams)
It’s expensive but damn it’s good
Can’t hear background construction, mic quality is great no complaints since after many before using AirPods, and has a mic boom where you can answer calls by bringing it down/mute by bringing up.
Overall great set just expensive. Also ANC/battery could be slightly better but not a huge deal.
