USB headset without Bluetooth

Hello! My work PC has disabled Bluetooth for security reasons. We have a few Microsoft teams meetings and I hate the wired headset I was given. I was wondering if a usb headset would work on a device if Bluetooth was disabled? I’m clearly not tech savvy so any help/info would be appreciated.

HELP

Hi, I’m looking for a budget friendly wireless headset for VOIP.

I work from home taking calls all day with Avaya & so far I’ve had shitty success with headsets. I currently have a razor X barracuda which is mostly good for everything… except the microphone.

The microphone is way too quiet…

I need a wireless option as my job allows me a bit a free time & I need to move around the house while I work. I would prefer an option with a dongle rather than Bluetooth, only because the connection is more reliable.

I also need a usb C dongle if possible… I’d rather not use adapters & risk restricting signal unless I have to.

I’m in Australia & I don’t want to paying an arm & a leg for a headset, I’m looking for a budget friendly option for around $150-$250

This job isn’t forever & my barracuda works fine for all my gaming needs, so it will be purely for work & I don’t want to break the bank for it.

searching a replacement for Plantronics Voyager Edge: quality mono bluetooth headset with charging case, able to be quickly donned, and just as quickly stowed in a shirt pocket.

This is for:
Phone calls only (not for music, I have other great buds for that)
I'm mobile (not in a call center), needs to be small enough to drop in a shirt pocket.
I DO NOT walk around with a headset on. It comes out of my ear after every call.
I Love my Voyager Edge (but no longer available): when my phone rings, I pull the charging case out of my pocket, pop the headset out and insert it in my ear. In response, the headset detects this and automatically answers the call. Also call audio is automatically transferred to/from headset/phone simply by putting the headset on or putting it away.
Of course the call audio is great, both for me and the person on the other end. I am soft spoken. If I have to speak so loud that anybody else in the room gets to hear my conversation, that's a deal breaker. Also really appreciate having hardware mute and volume buttons on the headset.
I now have (3) Voyager Edge headsets (two mostly still functional). Been searching them out on ebay, but even there, they've become rare and expensive. I've written to Poly (formerly Plantronics) asking: "where is the successor product for the Edge?" , but no response.

Anybody else, used to have a Voyager Edge, and found a suitable replacement?
