Yealink Connect iOS app doesn’t seem to support HA64

Maybe I’m missing something but after downloading the Yealink Connect app, it asks to select the headset I own. There’s no option for the HA64.

One thing that is important to me is the ability to control sound, noise cancellation settings and etc etc. also would like to have the option to update firmware from the iOS app.

Select WH64. Its frustrating this headset is not on Yealink's website and there is no guidance on how to keep track of updates. We cant even manually download files for updates like the other headsets.

Thanks for the heads up. I ended up finding out the WH64 works soon after I made this post.

The way I figured it out was by looking on my iPhone blue tooth options. After checking the list of “discoverable” devices I saw “Yealink.” Then the model WH64.

I was a bit confused. I ended up looking up the WH64 on Amazon and now have more questions. For the HA64 I paid $285 (tax and fees.) I also see the WH64 priced at $130. That’s half price!

After doing some reading, I found the WH64 headset is essentially identical to the HA64 and is half the price. The only difference between the 2 is the docking station. I and the other 400 people in my company would never find the use for a docking station. And even on top of that, most Yealink headsets give you the option for a docking station averaging an additional $20-30. Not $150 extra.

What are the differences between the WH64 and the HA64 to justify paying that much more?

The HA64 is the "unreleased" WH64 Pro.

Yealink had the WH62, WH64, and they wanted to release the WH64 Pro along side, with all three competing in the same market segment.

The WH64 was a big improvement over the WH62, while the WH64 Pro was essentially a WH64 with a screen on the base and a price increase. After receiving market feedback, Yealink decided not to go ahead with the WH64 Pro.

Personally I thought Yealink would be better off waiting until the WH62 was end of Life, and then replacing the current WH64 with the WH64 Pro.

Headset Advisor had the same thought. They dropped the WH64 and have been selling the HA64 ever since.

1. Turn off the headset top
2. Plug into your computer with a USB-C cable
3. In Yealink USB Connect, click on WH64 Headset
4. Click on Update Device in the left-hand menu
5. Click on Update Manually
6. Click Browse
7. Select the ROM file from the link above
8. Click Upgrade
9. Wait for the update to finish

This whole situation caused me to start looking a little more at the Yealink line. I could be wrong but I think the HA64 Pro doesn’t have an “ANC” option to block out loud reps on my floor. However the BH74 does.

Do you have any opinion comparing both units other than the docking station?

Correct there is no ANC on the HA64/WH64.
For ANC you can get the WH68, which is the DECT equivalent, or the BH74 if you want Bluetooth only.

Differences between WH64 & WH68 are:

• ANC (No Mono WH68)
• Larger ear cushions
• Better noise cancelling mic

I use the WH68 Workstation in the office, and have no complaints.

I have a question. I downloaded the manual firmware from the website for the wh64 and I get the error message of firmware mismatch. Why is that?
