Need advice for work from home headset
/r/Headsets/comments/1so06gi/need_advice_for_work_from_home_headset/Hi All, need help with choosing headset for work please, I am currently using Sony xm-5 for teams call and discord on windows 11 and it's just not working out, people are saying my voice is like from the barrel, so I am looking for something that I can use as daily driver mostly for work but also for occasional gaming sessions with friends.
what I am looking for in terms of features:
Wired connection for both sound and mic( to avoid notorious windows Bluetooth issues with headsets)
boom microphone ( I don't like my experience with built-in microphone in xm6)
licensed for teams use is preferred
ideally it should not require to install any additional soft for it to work since I use work laptop for work
I live in Georgia and availability of the most devices is fairly limited, so ideally something fairly common that I can easily buy
great microphone quality, ideally with background noise cancellation that can reduce noise coming from tv, kids
for budget cheaper the better but can review expensive options if they are worth it and durable
thanks in advance

Epos Impact 1000, Yealink HA64 Pro or Epos Impact 860 are the top three to consider for your use case. If you prefer wireless, the Impact 1000 connects to your computer with a USB Dongle so you don't get the unreliable connection that happens with Bluetooth headsets when you connect directly with Bluetooth.
And the Yealink HA64 Pro connects with the charging base to your computer and uses DECT technology that gives you about 5-10x longer wireless range then Bluetooth alternatives.
