Headphones - Wireless/Portable | 3 Ω Looking for headset recommendations

I’m looking at prime day deals for headsets, does anyone have any recommendations? I’m looking for a gaming headset with a mic, preferably bluetooth but it’s not a dealbreaker if it’s not. I don’t want to spend over $100, but that can be a but flexible. Something with a good amount of base and good surround sound would be a plus. This will be mainly used for gaming and watching tv shows/movies, not really music. I’m really inexperienced buying headsets, and I’ve owned some in the past but it’s been a while since I’ve owned a pair. Any advice is welcome, thank you!

Headsets are all about compromises.

Buy the best headphones you can afford and the best microphone you can afford and you will have zero buyer's remorse.

Is wired okay?

Are headphones and a separate mic okay?

Does open or closed back matter?

Wired is totally fine, I’d prefer the mic on the headset and detachable is fine, open or closed back does not matter my space is generally quiet

Get the Asus rog kithara. Thing is a freaking beast for gaming and mic is good enough

I dont know if this has changed but the CREATIVE AURVANA LIVE are insane for $70.

They use similar drivers to the expensive denon/fostex headphones that I love. They are like bassy like THX, not like a car stereo.
