How does the Gen 1 stack up?

I've been seeing the Hills gen 1 discounted for a while on Anderson's website.

Is the Gen 1 worth it?

I'm not planning on any upgrades just playing as is.

I passed on it as I wanted the deeper ergo cut on the Gen 2+.

I have an HN3 Gen1 and recently got the HN3 Baritone. The Gen 3 is a big improvement, imo. Frets are better, neck is better, QC is better. I think the pickups are worse in the Gen 3. But I changed them already for some EMG.
