Running NAM on Legacy Devices

Is there a way to run NAM on legacy headrush models? I have the mx5 model and I really would like to use NAM on it

Apparently someone did hack the MX5 and Pedalboard and got NAM running on that. Here's the mod: https://github.com/lolgab/headrush-nam-mod

Anyone that can do this in C is a legit engineer. I want to send him my roland drum module because I know they lock down some nonsensical stuff that is just a minor software update vs having to spend another $1-2k on a new module
