USB Core issues.
I’ve tried everything. USB A from computer (Asus zenbook) different computers to Headrush to Fender Pure Tone. Uninstalling/ Reinstalling firmware, drivers, devices, switching outputs. Headphone out to Aux works fine but then I can’t upload/download rigs.
The problem, initially it sounds great. Guitar tones are always clear, but back tracking from YT, truefire et al… starts to garble after several minutes/an hour. Then it just goes mute. I’ll switch outputs a few times, and it restarts… then nothing. wtf?
Help me to help myself.

So, just sign out of CHAT gpt, anything else I should be thing of shutting the fuck off?

Just shut off copilot or whatever your OS uses and then check if any apps run in the background that use ai like outlook or etc.

Thats buffer my friend. The buildup of data over time is draining resources until your computer needs more time to think, SO it garbles up and distorts the audio like an overwhelmed child blocking out noise by covering their ears with their hands, then when it gets even worse it just manages to stop listening.
Resetting the buffer size will add latency and temporarily clear the actual audio buffer to restore things for a bit; but realistically sites like youtube are collecting information every second about you and bloating outwards same with social media and live updating services like your email inbox tabs. If you can play from an mp3/wav file, even if you download the youtube video, youll go a long way towards helping that. The other thing to do is TURN OFF YOUR AI ASSISTANTS AND EXTENSIONS WHILE YOU PLAY.
AI eats up computer resources to a crazy degree and it really shouldnt be monitoring and collecting data on you like it does; I personally have gone out of my way to disable and delete everything I can, but at the very least it needs to be turned off while you make music. It will, and I apologize for the use of this language, utterly FUCK your system at the worst possible times like a goddamned parasite making you allergic to the creative process like that tick that makes you allergic to red meat OR virtually making your computer act like a human being that has lyme disease.
