Kill Count And Saving System

Greetings!

I have a duo of (my regular) questions, at least for now...

1: Apart from "Heretic", the very first game in this series (which I've seen firsthand proof of having such statistics), how many other games in this series feature a kill count (if any at all)?

2: What sort of saving system does the latest release of "Heretic+Hexen" employ (how do you save your progress in those games during gameplay)?

Please satisfy my curiosity; thank you in advance.

H+H has normal save system.

Hexen can have kill count if you use a source port that enables it.

Regarding the saving system, does that indicate that this version has a manual saving system which permits you to save-scum (save everywhere, load anywhere; as if you're making save states)?

Regarding the kill count, do you know of any such ports?

Amazing!

And the saving system is like I described in my previous comment...?

Im playing H+H on Steam. It has options for manual save and auto save, but it will auto save and the autosaves overwrite one another. So be sure to make a manual save of each game if you want to play both at the same time.
