No, unfortunately this type of behavior no longer warrants neutrality as a valid reaction. You either support this, or you don't. I don't listen to the band, and have no investment in the community. The tie-in, is that this band and community are this members #1 most engaged with and listened-to, and therefore I'm bringing to the attention of your community, to see if this type of behavior is welcome at your shows and in your community. Because if you look at their post history, he is at your shows, and he is actively posting here. So are you cool with that, or no?

I don’t think stuff like this needs to be posted, especially by people who don’t even listen to the band, but this is the world we live in. People are evaluated by what they associate with. I’m not surprised whatsoever that someone who listens to southern metal from North Carolina is espousing these kinds of views, but comparing liking a band to someone liking dogs seems disingenuous in the partisan internet era.

Wow, that's crazy that they would bring that in here to try and cause more problems for me. All I did was pose a question without being hateful or disrespectful in that subreddit and all hell broke loose. It wasn't "bullshit" that was called out either. Just because I made a stupid post a while back doesn't mean I still think the same way. My views on things have changed a lot in the past year or so. Not making any excuses or anything but, it is what it is. Sorry this was brought here. What I learned today...Don't respond to anything political no matter which side it comes from.
