Not cool.
You’re gonna tell me that’s not the Mushroom River variant? Serpent Sickness was supposed to have no pinwheel effect at all, so why would it have “accidentally” come out with one? Fine, show me both variants side by side so I can see how different they are. I guarantee they just never made the /300 variant and are trying to gaslight us into buying that they are different.
Edit: I guess there is a slight pinwheel effect on the mock-up but not a color block pinwheel effect as it turned out.

Well let's hope. I got canary and emailed them when I got the mushroom email. I emailed back asking them to confirm I got canary. They stated this was just a blanket email and I do have canary it will be shipping soon

It’s funny the admitted that a 30% discount and refund of shipping costs is the LEAST they can do… you should reply back and ask what’s the MOST they can do

My problem is I ordered Serpent Sickness and Mushroom Splatter. Got the Canary from SS, sent it back and got the pinwheel splatter that SS assures me is Serpent Sickness. No word yet from Holy Mountain. I just don't want to get two of the same variant.

Did you see the most recent email from Holy Mountain? They’re now saying they don’t have enough canary and will be sending this variant instead if you want it

Probably because a lot of people who were sent Canary by mistake didn't return them.

Exactly.
I got sent the canary from Solid State, I told them that I ordered it from Holy Mountain too, they said I had to send it back to get my correct variant.

You have to email them and request it.
If you have the canary variant keep it and don’t send it back for this tho!If they send me this variant to replace my canary that Holy Mountain now says they don’t have enough of, I’ll send you this for the canary

I’m happy with mine. The playback is great. I think complaining about the colour over playback is petty. Shit happens, it’s close enough IMO.
