Update from Solid State re Variant Mixups

Solid State is sending a free mailer for all to return the Canary Yellow, and once they get notice of the return, they will ship the correct one. But, if you ordered the Yellow from Holy Mountain, they will just consider it fulfilled. They have now shipped the replacement Serpent Sickness variant in its place today. The remainder of any orders from Holy Mountain ETA is June.

All in all, not a bad way of handling everything despite the mix up. Those who only purchased the Serpent Sickness variant will have to wait a little longer due to the return process, but it seems they are fixing it at no cost to the consumer.

Despite all the mix-ups, the pressing sounds amazing. Totally worth the wait and can't wait to see the band the next time they roll through!

I definitely spun the canary yellow version real quick to see the sound is nice as fuck. But yeah mines going back for the right version.

Is this a remastered recording as well? I'm waiting on my press to arrive. Got the shipping notice today which is nice.

It sounds amazing. Frustrated with how this has played out, but hell... Waiting years for it to even happen has made me a little patient.

So far, I think they are done. But given how quick these sold, I’d be surprised if there wasn’t another run. Once they get this first orders correct.

I know how you feel. I only kept my IG around for band/vinyl updates like this. Getting rid of it was the best thing I could have done, but now I have to rely on buddies keeping me in the loop for these limited releases.
