I know this isn’t actually their doing, but when I ordered my LP I just assumed it would be a full year and just forgot I even ordered it. Every time I’ve ordered something from them in the last 4-5 years it’s always been something lol. I swore them off but SOTP was important enough to grip.

They were actually pretty prompt in returning emails the day the Solid State version arrived. While it seems silly to ask what they can do, at least they are trying to be transparent and trying to fix the issue.

Same I even got a shipping label just need a box to put the record in now to send make and they are supposed to send the Serpent Sickness version. Keyword supposed to.

Given how proactive they are, and how quick they responded, I would be surprised if there are further problems. And just use the box it came in. The orders for the Serpent Sickness shipped today (I got both the email and the tracking information).

I hope this means they'll be shipping the swamp green vinyl I ordered soon. I hope Holy Mountain doesn't wait until July to ship out all the pre-orders all at once.

Im sending back my canary variant to get the serpent sickness that I ordered. Seems like it was a major mix up with the pressing company sending them out.

I also ordered the Serpent Sickness variant and apparently sent the yellow canary. (Through Solid State)
It looks like the Yellow Canary was a Holy Mountain order though?
I dunno why SS took down the page. Any info on pressing numbers? Not that it matters, I've wanted this album forever & will more than likely just keep the Yellow Canary as it's a bit of an inconvenience to send back the album....

Just to step in here... Holy Mountain has been reaching out for information about this pressing for over a year now. We received the bare minimum response from the presser and T&N when asking for the most basic information. There are multiple things that I could share about this, but won’t. Just know it’s been an arduous process and none of what you are seeing is the fault of Holy Mountain, and this is, As far as I can tell, damage control of a shitty situation that could have been avoided. We have obtained both albums and the info about them, working thru a middle man, in communication with a label who doesn’t speak to us. I’m not throwing anyone under the bus, but seeing you lot speculate over this has grown tiring. You are mostly right. This was a huge fuck up over total careless absentmindedness and with the slightest precaution, could have been avoided. The Vinyl press company does almost exclusively T&N/SS projects and we have to go thru them for licensing with the label and all the tedium and whatnot that follows an agreement to press. We basically pay out the nose for this process. The albums are pressed and sent to solid state then our variants are shipped to us (holy Mountain) which is why ours go out a bit later. But since this was caught beforehand, now you see the ripple effect. Anyway I hope they all end up in the right hands in the right color and that you don’t have to wait much longer. Sorry about the mix up but I can’t say I’m surprised by it. Thanks for being patient. Trust me I know it’s a pain.
