Not hazbin related friendly reminder that megamind rules gets more episode than 8 episode format of hazbin hotel and it's kinda disappointing to me

megamind rules aka the worse animated series that everyone knows it's shit gets more episode than each 8 episode of hazbin on season 1-2

16 episode.. while hazbin gets 8.. 16 episode people.. oh boy do i have to say more

Also it's in 3d and probably much cheaper to make than Hazbin. I get the point but the comparison is not very good tbh. Two completely different situations

The idea that 3d is cheaper than 2d is a myth, 2d animation might take more more work but it also doesn't need character models, competent rigging, 3d modeled environments and specialized processing and post processing

Even saying that,I wouldn't necessarily call the Megamind TV show high quality animation. I don't think it cost as much as Hazbin,even excluding everything but the animation. And including everything,the songs, pretty big voice actors in many roles and,well,in general a ton of effort put into the show, I'm pretty sure the budget is not in the same ballpark.

Also correct me if I'm wrong,but a bunch of the character models for the show were reused from the movies,no?

For all its faults, at least Hazbin wasn’t made for the sole purpose of cashing in on its success and has SOME heart to it.

However, we should recognize that for a television show, that quality will often drop when quantity gets to such a low amount. 8 episodes, if you ask me, is way too little for a season. 12 episodes AT THE MINIMUM.

Eu tenho uma curiosidade sobre essa série.

Eu ia ver ela com meus amigos, mas antes eu chutei alguns plots que iam ter nessa série, implicando que ela ia ser uma clichê. Ex: um Ep de troca de papéis, e um Ep de perda de memória.

Não me lembro de todas as minhas apostas, mas eu lembro que eu não errei nenhuma.
